  • Saw The Imitation Game today with WSS.....outstanding. Both Cumberbatch and Knightly excellent as well. The "gay" thing was really not the main thrust of the film at all. It was downplayed, and only became an important factor in the end.....but the story had little to do with the fact that the guy was gay.

WSS said it was gay. WSS isn't gay is he?

  • There were to actual storylines and the gay part was substantial. It had more to do with the story near the end however. It was tastefully done and the code breaking portion of the film was engrossing from the beginning. Really good film. Still it will get extra points from the Academy for the homosexual angle. Still it's a worthy nomination.

wintertime makes it easier to smuggle in my own drink - at least we dont get frisked (yet) when entering!

hey its a liberty ! kind of cheating, but still -

  • my wife and I trade weekends to pick what we will watch - and she picked some good ones

(recently) one was Wild with Reese Witherspoon and last night, Cake with Jennifer Anniston.

    They were terrific films!

Have seen Linklater's/McCarten's/Andersons........no dice on any of them. One of the other two need to win.

  • I have one more best picture to see, whiplash. I will most likely go tomorrow to the first show at Valley View or possibly Kent Plaza.
