Not sure if it was easy or if it was just right in my wheelhouse ... the one that almost tripped me up was Alan Page ... I saw justice and started writing Byron Whizzer White ... but then I saw STATE ... I knew Page was a judge, a MVP and a HOF. (And from Notre Dame).

But the best guess was that haley was a 4th rounder ... I had no idea, I just picked a round. Should buy some scratchoffs today.

  • Zombo took all the answers that I knew before I had a chance. Because I'm honest...I knew Keith Jackson, Alan Page, 1964 championship game, and Joe Montana. Had no idea on the rest.

  • Halftime Report: here are questions still unanswered:

    9. Which college now has a representative in the PFHOF that was not previously represented before the Class of 2015?

    10. There are 32 NFL teams. Only 7 of them have their single season rushing leader as a member of the PFHOF. Name the teams and the runners.

    11. Basically: In which round was Will Shields drafted?

    12. Which HOF running back became the first player in history to rush for over 200 yards in a game?

  • A little bit on Tinglehoff: http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/160861/fran-tarkenton-eager-to-present-mick-tingelhoff-at-hall-of-fame

Those Viking teams of the 60's and 70's were amazing, I can still see the breath coming out of the players purple helmets at the Old Met. Moving indoors killed the luster of that franchise, but at least the fans were cozy. They sure had some great teams back in the day ... Jim Marshall belongs in the Hall

I agree with you on Marshall.

And the Vikings will be outside for another year playing at the Gophers stadium (which is right across the street where my son now works) until their new stadium is finished. I had thought perhaps they would go back to open air....but apparently not. It is indoor, but is supposed to be airy, but not exposed.
