Jeremy Maclin

How do the rest of you guys feel about spending big for Jeremy Maclin? The more I think about it the more I think I could be on board with it.
What say you guys?
-
No thank you. One year of good production with massive injuries under his belt already.

They've freed up the money to make sure they can bring him back

I disagree. I think they've freed up space to make a big splash in FA, to justify trading their whole draft to get Marcus Mariota

If the Browns are going to get a WR in FA, Maclin would be #1 on my wish list, neck and neck with Cobb IMO.
-
Not a prototype WR1 guy and with his injury history, this guy has trouble written all over it.
-
Not worth it without a good QB. Maclin by himself accomplishes nothing.
What was Harvin's stats with the Jets? How many games did the Bucs win even with 2 near-pro-bowl WR?

Yep....and they did extend him a 9m offer, which he has now turned down...
With big cap I'd grossly overpay if need be.
At $10m a year, thats exactly what we'd be doing.....grossly overpaying.....

Signed with the Chiefs
