casserly has us tradin both first rounders to move up and get mariota.

i know he's half senile but that might be THE move. saw his pro-day and the kid is exactly who i'd want as the browns franchise QB.

Depends how far Mariota falls. If it's to #6, LOL, both firsts and Manziel might get it done.

i think he had him falling to the rams at #10.

Casserly can be a classic moron at times. Tony Boselli in the expansion draft in Houston. Offensive tackle that had a shoulder made out of glass. He knew that and still drafted the guy.

I don't see it but it would be nice. I've seen the guy play a number of times and he is good. I just wonder how good he is with a mediocre front line because that's what we would have to give up to get him.

    and i agree....

    BUT

it's a matter of when do you pick your poison, this year or next? the manziel pick was a waste, gilbert has yet to be determined but otherwise last year was a solid draft. do you finish off the defense with a DT and a LB with our first 2 picks, maybe add OL help with one or the other or do you draft who you believe would be your franchise QB? i'd rather do the defense and draft maybe a hundley later but i'm not the GM.

    gabriel and mccartney???

    who da what??

  • Why would we trade away an unproven QB for another unproven QB?

I know many of you don't like Manziel and rightfully so,

but if any team ever gives up on 1st round QB after 5 fucking quarters... it's lunacy.

See if he can turn it around this year, if not then you have a nice crop of QB's next year.

  • and Mary?

He is no longer a Cleveland Brown.....so shit on him. That's enough reason.....even if it is no fault of his own. Hopefully he continues to play as bad as he did at the end of last season.

  • Said sources say Manziel wont play this year ....do not know how they would know for sure .....

Why? There are 6 months left even before the season starts. Even the most down in the dirt alcoholic at some point has to back to work.

  • WOW BREAKING NEWS: @TheRealTRizzo said a source very close to him said Johnny Manziel will not play in the 2015 @NFL season #SameOldBrowns

Well, we are going to need more info on this. Maybe we are just getting the Dolphin's attention.

  • I also heard them talking about it this morning. Rizzo and Grossi were doing a normal segment. Also I think Mr. Manziel has problems beyond Drinking. That's my hunch if this is true.

  • me too...and they said it 2 days ago too, but then kinda backed off.....no explainations given, but yesterday they also said he was out of rehab...then backed off again....

    something weird is happening....again....

tho it does help to explain the extra QB slot......

  • You believe anything these tards say? To me, all this week they have done nothing but tear apart every action or in action by the Browns in FA. Can anybody suggest another station to listen to instead of these fucking morons?

  • I stream it because I don't know any better...

  • I'd be worried if we didn't have McCown and Thad signed sealed and delivered.

Browns: Always one one step ahead.

  • Well 2 days ago Jim Brown was praising him for electing to stay beyond the minimum 28 day program.

Actually I see this in a more positive light. He may have finally concluded that he does indeed have a very difficult thing to deal with and the longer he stays in the better the outcome. Now it all depends upon what kind of long term treatment plan he has agreed to and how long it is supposed to last as an inpatient.

  • If JM's control was diminished by the pressures of the game (as his Daddy said all along), then a year away makes sense.
