  • The hardest part of JFF's rehab will be after he is out of the controlled environment and let loose. Driving past bars, and ice cold beer signs and saying 'no'.

Pfft... easy. Don't let him drive.

and I just heard he may be out and about...

  • Chain up the dogs and lock your windows...

  • The Brown's front office pulled off a coup of major proportions when the traded Trent Richardson for a first round pick. Then they reverted back to the old Browns and drafted Manziel. They must get sick watching Khalil Mack, Odell Beckham, Mike Evans, Teddy Twatwater and the rest of the young talent they passed on. So I have a feeling Chip Kelly is going to try and get Manziel for his uptempo offense if no one is willing to trade with him on draft day.

Interesting concept. Can't get one Heisman winner (Mariota), go for another one. Manziel.

  • casserly has us tradin both first rounders to move up and get mariota.

i know he's half senile but that might be THE move. saw his pro-day and the kid is exactly who i'd want as the browns franchise QB.

Depends how far Mariota falls. If it's to #6, LOL, both firsts and Manziel might get it done.

My boss, an Aggie grad and die hard fan, showed me current tweets from JFF's girlfriend out partying, getting wasted in College Station, Austin and Houston. I've been clean and sober for 21 years - He will have to dump her or it will never take.

In fact he has to do what Tyrann Mathieu did - dump all his old friends from N.O. and Baton Rouge, re-dye his hair, shed the Honey Badger mantra and concentrate on FOOTBALL. Mathieu was on track to join his daddy in Angola prison. I am sure glad he changed.

i think he had him falling to the rams at #10.

Casserly can be a classic moron at times. Tony Boselli in the expansion draft in Houston. Offensive tackle that had a shoulder made out of glass. He knew that and still drafted the guy.

I don't see it but it would be nice. I've seen the guy play a number of times and he is good. I just wonder how good he is with a mediocre front line because that's what we would have to give up to get him.

    and i agree....

    BUT

it's a matter of when do you pick your poison, this year or next? the manziel pick was a waste, gilbert has yet to be determined but otherwise last year was a solid draft. do you finish off the defense with a DT and a LB with our first 2 picks, maybe add OL help with one or the other or do you draft who you believe would be your franchise QB? i'd rather do the defense and draft maybe a hundley later but i'm not the GM.

    gabriel and mccartney???

    who da what??

  • Why would we trade away an unproven QB for another unproven QB?

I know many of you don't like Manziel and rightfully so,

but if any team ever gives up on 1st round QB after 5 fucking quarters... it's lunacy.

See if he can turn it around this year, if not then you have a nice crop of QB's next year.

  • and Mary?

He is no longer a Cleveland Brown.....so shit on him. That's enough reason.....even if it is no fault of his own. Hopefully he continues to play as bad as he did at the end of last season.

  • Said sources say Manziel wont play this year ....do not know how they would know for sure .....
