If Bosa, Elliot, and Cardale keep it up, then easily.

Bosa or Cardale could go 1 or 2

  • I don't see anyone taking a HB that high. It just isn't worth it anymore.

    True.

  • These things are just dumb without knowing the draft order. Better off just ranking the eligible players.

More surprising than OSU's group will be Ole Miss with 3 of the top 5. What High Freeze has done at such a small program is pretty impressive. Of course, those guys were part of a superstar 2013 class, one he hasn't backed up in ensuing recruiting cycles.

  • I'll be surprised if A'Shawn Robinson goes that low (16). He's a stud with versatility to play any 3-4 DL spot. I don't think he's that far below Nkemdiche.

  • 3rd pick? We must have traded up.

    Or traded back 🙂

  • One can dream and then make it a reality. Jones will be better than Jameis by a mile. Meyer is a far better coach and mentor than Jimbo.

  • Not of the NFL game.

You mean the class he purchased? The class that was representative of all of the shady shit the SEC does, and the way the NCAA ignores it?

  • You sir, are a loser. Either beat em like Ohio State did (got all the respect in the world for them) or hush up. No one's got time for whiners. Yeah we pay players and you can either strengthen the NCAA, stop crying and take off the white wig and do it yourself, or enjoy your mediocre teams.

I mean, there was a ton of talk about the cash to that got throw recruits way when Freeze took over.

  • And every single program in the SEC lies to parents about oversigning, unlike the big10.

No, everyone else does not do it - that's just the SEC.

  • Look at your handle. That's about how I feel about woe is me arguments from people that can't handle big time college football.

Also, our oversigning has been greatly reduced since a conference rule change. Secondly, how dumb does a parent have to be to believe a lie about oversigning? Most classes are very near full before signing day. If you've got a problem, don't sign there.

Oversigning's not a bad thing to the recruits. The vast majority of the time oversigning only happens because teams know the kid won't qualify. Everyone that qualifies usually makes it. They count kids back to the previous class if they're early enrollees.

Who it does harm is upperclassmen that have yet to prove themselves because oftentimes they are asked to transfer to make room. Saban does this every year. After his 2012 national championship he went through the spring and summer with 95 kids on scholarship (limit is 85). But that hardly counts as lying to the parents of recruits.

Oversigning is just a boogeyman non-SEC folks point to to make themselves feel better.

  • Hahahaha... Didn't take long for A&M fans to fit right into the SEC, huh?

Oversigning, shady roster management, paying players, etc. All of it is bending or breaking the rules, and the SEC is king at it. Too bad the NCAA is spineless, because they wont do a damn thing. Fuck having tainted wins. Do it the right way.

  • Oversigning isn't a bad thing to the recruits.... Lol, ok. This reverse logic here to make it seem like oversigning helps the players haha. Tell that to the players that lose their scholarship by being forced to transfer, or worse, forced to take a bogus medical hardship. How about the recruits that get the offer they've already accepted taken away last second because the coach oversigned. Or a player being forced to medical hardship in his first semester on campus because the coach oversigned, because they believe a common injury is career ending, even though that player had been committed for 18 months (happening at OSU right now)

Oversigning in no way helps the players.

Now we get to go down this path, congrats troll.

I am going to try to avoid some long drawn out debate with you, because I know you're just an troll, and a "fake outrage" idiot. I do not know how much you actually know about this situation (probably not very much), so this whole post will probably all be for nothing. I will say this though, if you actually think Michigan covered up a rape, of a true freshman kicker, on a team that was terrible at kicking and he couldnt even start, and we had open tryouts on campus to try to find another kicker.... if you think Michigan risked EVERYTHING to try to cover up a rape by Gibbons... YOU ARE A MORON. There is literally no reason to attempt to do that, none. Only bad things could come from that.

There wasn't enough evidence for a conviction. No one came forward. Nothing happened at the time. Later, his Sr year, the national set of rules for sexual assault at colleges changed, the burden of proof was lowered. This caused sexaul assault cases to be reexamined all across the country (yes, even including OSU). Even though he was never charged, the university saw enough there to expel him. He was then released from the team. If at any point you honestly thought the entire school was covering this up, you are a moron. You are mentally challenged, and struggle with basic reasoning.

.... now, back on to what the topic of this board turned into (before you so poorly attempted to insult Michigan. Pretty funny for two reasons though 1) you post about Michigan more than I do. 2) We still have no idea where you went to school. For all of the shit talking you do about Michigan, I'm expecting it to be a pretty kick ass university. I mean, it would have to be. Otherwise, you'd just look like an idiot. So please, enlighten me. Where did you get your degree?)

This was the story I was talking about . It also doesn't seem like Meyer is shying away from using Medical Hardships... he's at Saban level numbers right now. Not that this is inherently bad, but it is something to keep an eye on.

Just like a lot of schools will be over the scholarship limit by 1 or two after signing day, knowing there is a player or two that will transfer or whatnot. But continuing to do this more and more, going even higher over the limit, these are things to watch out for. Luckily, the B1G has stricter rules in place regarding oversigning than the SEC does, so I don't think Meyer and OSU are on Bama levels yet, but again, it is something to watch.

Anyway, back to what was sort of the topic. The SEC has spent years bending or flat out breaking the rules. There have been numerous recorded instances of it. The NCAA though, is spineless, and would never actually impose any punishment. So we're at the point where other teams are trying to copy their strategy. I think that is a shame. I'd rather have the NCAA grow a pair than move to a Minor League system.

This guy named Urban Meyer (ever heard of him?) used to coach there, it's called:

Bowling Green State University (where the Browns got their colors from and used to have training camp at)

6:1 girl to guy ratio and tons of hot slutty women and great parties.

They are also top 5 program in the country for what my degree was in.
