It's about time. I am ready to start marking the calendar.

I need to prepare my trip over, ideally we will have a game in the West Coast in December as I am going to Vegas anyway. Combining the two would be ideal although I really wanted to go back to Cle and maybe see the Tribe.

We are leaning towards an early season game at this point and time but have to wait till the schedule comes out to know for sure.

Simple solution... spend your future winnings of your West Coast/ Vegas foray in an earlier North Coast visit.

Sounds like April 23rd is the date that they're saying today. But it also could be a couple days earlier they're saying. Basically, sometime next week.

In the past they have released the schedule on or before "tax day".

In fact, in the past they would hold the draft around "tax day" time. I know because I would procrastinate doing my taxes and have to miss seeing some of the draft because I would be working on them to meet the April 15 deadline. (that is,,,,,today)

What does "fixture" schedule mean? Is that a British thing?

Yea, I wondered about that too. I mean here fixtures are like curtain rod holders, kitchen cabinets, sconces etc.

Unless that is like a southern colloquialism. You know "have ya fixture broked headlight on yer truk"

As said above all soccer games are called fixtures in Europe, what do they call the games played in the MLS?

It's taking a little longer this year due to the NFL shifting more of their resources from scheduling to getting to the bottom of deflategate.
