I was losing an argument with you? Where?

Gee, did I say that you were losing to me? Feeling a bit insecure by jumping to conclusions like that? Truth is you lose to everybody.

Show me where you have won.

To be fair it was in your own sentence, gibberish hyperbole inflated nonsensical mouth breathing, so I understand his confusion.

  • Cleve should apologize for his father not pulling out in time.

you need to apologize to me for cohabitating the same space as me. Don't you know who I am? You're shit, i'm not. Apologize for mouth breathing in the same realm as I. Right now.

  • US citizens have been paying reparations since FDR and moreso since LBJ, just under other names.

  • I agree reparations are not necessary at this point and would actually be counterproductive. A serious revamp of our education system and our food chain would do more for African americans than a check from uncle sam.

  • Agreed. Free education should be available to all students regardless of race. There should be free food and transportation to and from school provided. And those classes should be standardized across the United States despite race or financial situation. And those teachers should be among the best. They should have advanced degrees and be trained well in educational technique. And so we know we are getting the best they should be union members and be paid twice the average citizen salary with the ability to retire early on the public taxpayer. Then poor people will do much better. Hey wait....

sarcasm noted, but that's not the way it is....and you know it. And i'm not giving the teachers unions a pass, there are things that some of them ain't done right. Teachers should be some of the highest paid professionals but also held to some of the highest standards.

And i'm not even going to begin to talk about school food which makes Mcdonalds come off like whole foods. That's a thread to itself.

  • It is hard to evaluate teachers sometimes tho. A great teacher might not he able to get through to a shit kid. And a shit teacher might not have any lasting negative affects on a great kid.

Sure, there are a lot of perks to the job. There are also a lot of issues I'd rather not deal with.

  • One of the worst things about the No Child Left Behind thing, was

that it stupidly didn't take account of the schools that had excellent

    special education programs.

Learning disabilities vs federal standards. That's the huge problem of

federal control. One size does not fit all. Some kids have a reading disability,

and have to have the tests read to them. And spec ed teachers don't get the credit

they deserve. It's a hell of a lot harder job, and requires a lot more talent to be a real

    terrific one.

I don't know about over there, but here at least those kids with learning difficulties that might require them to have longer to take the exam - for example, if someone needs to read the test to them as you say - get longer in exams than the standard time, to help restore balance. If you're dyslexic, you can bring in your special filter sheet to help you read better. If you're just a bit slow, then you get...a lower score.

Nope. If they're not done in time, you shake all over and your organs pop out. I think your nose also lights up.

  • Nice short little video....ignore the inaccurate title.

Black man learns through his lineage how his great great great grandfather was brought here as a slave...by the economics of the times in Africa.

I took a Black History course in college...and where did black history start?...on the slave ships.

The means by how they were brought onto slave ships is a topic academia doesn't want you to know about.

jesus h Christ everybody knows by now that other black people sold their fellow people into slavery. In no way shape or absolute form does that even 'slightly" absolve the people who gladly bought said slaves. In no way

Slopes? Kinda intolerant or racist or whatever for a little liberal boy isn't it? Still fuck the demand. Sure I blame the poachers. There is a demand for all sorts of horrible shit.

I said "solely"...OF COURSE I blame the poachers. I'm just saying you can't SOLELY blame them since they are supplying the demand. You realize it starts with demand right? Nobody supplies anything that ain't demanded first.

  • There's a demand for child sex slaves, I hold in vast vast contempt both the demanders and the suppliers.
