US citizens have been paying reparations since FDR and moreso since LBJ, just under other names.

I agree reparations are not necessary at this point and would actually be counterproductive. A serious revamp of our education system and our food chain would do more for African americans than a check from uncle sam.

Agreed. Free education should be available to all students regardless of race. There should be free food and transportation to and from school provided. And those classes should be standardized across the United States despite race or financial situation. And those teachers should be among the best. They should have advanced degrees and be trained well in educational technique. And so we know we are getting the best they should be union members and be paid twice the average citizen salary with the ability to retire early on the public taxpayer. Then poor people will do much better. Hey wait....

sarcasm noted, but that's not the way it is....and you know it. And i'm not giving the teachers unions a pass, there are things that some of them ain't done right. Teachers should be some of the highest paid professionals but also held to some of the highest standards.
And i'm not even going to begin to talk about school food which makes Mcdonalds come off like whole foods. That's a thread to itself.

It is hard to evaluate teachers sometimes tho. A great teacher might not he able to get through to a shit kid. And a shit teacher might not have any lasting negative affects on a great kid.
Sure, there are a lot of perks to the job. There are also a lot of issues I'd rather not deal with.

I have my moments. And the Chinese earn my scorn for demanding that animals like elephants and rhino's be taken down to satisfy their little ivory trinket fetish. I also detest the killing of tigers to supply them their boner medicine, BUT at least I understand somewhat...we're talking about boners afterall. Ivory fucking trinkets I have zero understanding for. But hey, once those animals are gone that'll be that. And yeah I wholly believe that those animals will be run off of the planet within a few years. It should piss all americans off that Isis and Al quida are running the poaching business. So not only are the little Chinese people demanding the extinction of animals....they're also propping up muslim terrorists in doing so. And they know it, it's been told to them.
