What do you mean by elective? Anything that isn't for the purpose of preserving the health of the mother?

There are of course some humane exceptions but basically yes.

So a 19 year old has sex with her boyfriend. They use a form of contraception but it fails. She's a student working full time just to get by. She's "sick" for wanting an abortion?

  • No, she's irresponsible. Why take the chance on having a child when she is in

no place in life to take a chance on having a child?

It isn't that hard to figure out. And Steve brought up a hideous indictment against "planned parenthood".

Obamao's fave org. He supported pba from the gitgo.

And of course, certain libs show up, change the subject, and make jokes.

Very sad. Everything is a joke when it doesn't get libs free stuff, directly, or indirectly.

  • still think it's a joke, jerks?

This “lab” is a depot for Family Planning Associates, California’s largest abortion mill chain. Every container holds a baby who was murdered by abortion. The size of the container is proportional to the age of the child. The larger containers hold 2nd trimester babies. Each of these children deserved to live.

“One of the boxes fell out of the container, spilling its contents on the ground. I stared at a large object but couldn’t tell what it was. I called my boss to come over and take a look. All of a sudden we realized with great horror that it was a decapitated body of a baby. Other workers started vomittig.” ` Hank Stolk, employee of Martin Container Corporation, Los Angeles, Ca. • But what if she didn't have sex and still got pregnant?

Well, she was responsible in such a way that she made sure she used some form of contraception.

On the other hand, nature has given us the urge to have sex in order for us to have babies. They engaged in an act specifically designed to produce a specific outcome. Unfortunately for the girl, (and guy) the mechanism worked exactly like it was supposed to.

So yes, you can say she was irresponsible for having sex in the first place.

Enter religion. Christianity gives us a moral code to abide by. No fucking until you get married period.

Abstinence is asking a lot I know. Guilty as charged lol.

Adoption is a better option. If you're going to have sex for sport both partners can use a form of birth control and if the fetus STILL survives it's probably Jesus.

The fucked up weird almost funny thing is these are the same people that want guns banned cause , gee whiz, someone might get killed. And the death sentence for murderers is, like, totally inhumane man. But when it's the most innocent it's perfectly ok. A "choice" with no consequences.

I must have missed those people posting on this board.

Unless by "people" you are just talking in an "Evil liberals are out to get me" Cal sense.

  • It's got nothing to do with me. Are you going to sit there, really, and deny that your pro choice folks are the anti gun anti death penalty crowd? Are you really going to do that? I know a lot of these guys give you shit but are you really going to give them that ammo?

With all of the people in the US, all of the times they have sex, and the failure rates of contraception (although very small), statistically, it is going to happen. Who are you to tell the woman she needs to go through 9 months of pregnancy and a birth?

Where do you draw the line? How far into the pregnancy? (I'm asking you. I want to know what your opinion is. It doesn't have to be absolutes, I'm just trying to get an idea of where you're coming from).

I believe we've had this same song and dance before. You did the "I'm a parent now and I know every child is precious" thing, and then I believe we found a common ground in there. No one (no one here at least) is advocating late term abortions. No one is trying to glorify the procedure or say they're "pro abortion".

  • After the heart starts beating it's no good. So you've got roughly six weeks.

I don't identify with whatever liberal, socialist, hippy persona you and others on this board have seemed to construct in your minds. Or the idea that is being fed through conservative media outlets.

I would imagine there is a cross over between the pro choice, anti gun and anti death penalty crowd. I do not think you can paint a broad stroke and say everyone that is pro choice is anti death penalty and thinks we should ban all guns. While that fits tidily into whatever stereotypes some on here may have created, it doesn't always reflect reality.

I am pro choice up until a reasonable amount of time.

I am fine with the death penalty is cases where it is warranted, but at the same time it costs tax payers a lot of money

I don't think guns should be banned (and it is very unrealistic), but I am form some kind of gun control reform.

See how those all don't fit nicely into the "Those People" generalization?

Why is that your cut off date? What makes this muscle starting to work so significant?

I tend to fall into the category that there is an empirical line that can be drawn where life exists and I personally would not want that life ended. That being said the human race is pretty much ok with killing everything in our path and some have empirically made the case that society is better off with the current laws as they are.

Why does a beating, not fully developed heart make it a "human baby"?

  • Technically its a human baby at conception but I'm trying to give irresponsible turds the maximum amount of leeway
