  • Here is this week's survey....give your opinions or answers:

    1. Brown' first round pick a few years ago Phil Taylor is now gone.......who was the worst Browns first round pick taken since 1999?

    2. Per CBS sports the following are the over/under in number of wins expected for each AFC North team:

    Ravens 9 wins

    Steelers 8.5 wins

    Bengals 8.5 wins

    Browns 6.5 wins

Say whether you would take the over or under for each of these.

    3. Which 4 teams do you pick to make the College Football Playoffs at the end of the year?

    4. Read this article about Steve Spurrier complaining about Ohio State's schedule:

    http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/eye-on-college-football/25286976

A coach of an SEC team complaining about a weak non-conference schedule by a team from another league. Is he a fucking idiot...or what?

    5. Which US city would you absolutely stay away from visiting because of perceived danger?

  • 1. Brown' first round pick a few years ago Phil Taylor is now gone.......who was the worst Browns first round pick taken since 1999?
By talent, Richardson. Though since we got a 1 back for him, not sure.

    2. Per CBS sports the following are the over/under in number of wins expected for each AFC North team:
    Ravens 9 wins Over
    Steelers 8.5 wins Over

    3. Which 4 teams do you pick to make the College Football Playoffs at the end of the year?
OSU, Alabama, then anything could happen

    4. Read this article about Steve Spurrier complaining about Ohio State's schedule:

A coach of an SEC team complaining about a weak non-conference schedule by a team from another league. Is he a fucking idiot...or what? I'm not sure why all conferences aren't the same number of teams, then everyone just plays everyone in their conference (maybe twice) and the best teams progress. But it is what it is and I don't care.

    5. Which US city would you absolutely stay away from visiting because of perceived danger? - Plenty, though Detroit would be up there.

Are you sure that isn't A CENTURY after you did? 😛

  • Hey Gipper, you ready to change that Ariz. State prediction yet? 38-17 Ags. Chavis is already impacting the A&M D.

  • Where'd he pick ASU? That's turrible. What a game. What a night.

  • That Frosh DT #5 looks like a monster in the making...

  • Quickest kid off the snap I've ever seen as an underclassman. And he's only about 6'0" and 330. Also, they had to order new weights in the weight room for him to squat. He's a beast.

I knew a line guy like you would appreciate that guy. That first time he split the line and almost took the handoff was a play of beauty. Saw an interview after the game with Miles Garrett who gave all the credit to Chavis "for putting us in the right positions to make plays". He's gonna be a top 5 pick if he stays healthy. Rare to have a DE that strong with 4.46 40 speed. They were double and sometimes even triple teaming him last night. Also rare to have a DT with the quickness off the ball of #5. Our D won that game last night. First time since the days of RC Slocum.

  • Actually just since 2010, but who's counting?

It's the first time I uttered those words without a smirk on my face in years. It says a lot when Chavis says these are he two best DE's he's had at the same time on one team. Add #5 to that mix and it's lethal for QB's.

A number of people had AZ St. going to the Field of Four........you still never know.....Ohio St. lost its first game last year....and remind me....what happened there? 😳

Hey....if they go undefeated from here on out....winning the Pac12 title game, you never know. Three of the four teams in last year's Field of Four had a loss.

They're good enough to win out. Very well balanced team. But they caught a talented D that acquired one of the best D coordinators in the business in the offseason. At least 3 off the line will play in the NFL one of these days. And at least one of those safeties will be there too. Funny thing is that their 2 best LB's did not play, one injured and 1 suspended the first two games.

Definitely good enough to win out. They have a great team. Very few QBs could take the abuse that theirs did and still be leading the team well in the 4th.
