Sorry....but I see talent all over the field on this defense.......and yet they are absurdly underachieving.
That's coaching to me. While I think Pettine is a good defensive head coach....his DC needs to be replaced, especially if they continue to play the way that they have so far.
Is embarrassing that the wealth of talent they have plays this poorly.
And then there is the offensive line coaching. Three Pro Bowlers in the OL.....and they gain what? 40 yards on the ground. Again, epic underachievement.
Are they the problem? Or is it Crowell. Johnson, etc.
They got rid of Terrence West. Was he any worse than what we have?

The enigma that is the Browns.. I understand Terrence West wasn't Jim Brown.. He didn't need to be.. I'm just shocked they traded him after being so high on him last season. When I watch O'Neil's press conferences , I just see a soft man standing at the podium.. He's getting out coached week in and week out. The O line maybe a byproduct of the drama that surrounds Andy Moeller. But by the same token. These are grown men.. As for Alex Mack. He may still not be 100% back from his injury.

In 2012 Pettine as DC for the Jets had the 26 ranked rushed defense. The next season without Pettine they are the number 3 ranked rush defense.
In 2013 Pettine as DC for the Bills has the 28th ranked rush defense. The next season without Pettine they are the number 11 ranked rush defense. Also the Browns played and beat the Bills that year. It was the game where Hoyer got hurt and Weeden came in and lead us to victory. Also was Willis Mcgahee high game for rushing yard that year.
