Liberty Counsel and Judges fight perverted redefinition of real, natural Marriage

  • So, in short, gay people are bad and will cause the inevitable decay of society just by existing?

Or, it's gay adoption you're against, rather than gay marriage?

  • 1) Do you have any source whatsoever to support your claims about kids raised by same sex parents?

    2) The obvious retort here is divorce. Are you fine with that being legal? Are you just assuming every single parent is having their kid spend significant time with both grandparents? That obviously does not cover all situations.

    3) Without any facts to back your statements up, we're left with you just saying you don't like it. Not liking something doesn't give grounds to make it illegal.

I don't like religion. It perverts an individuals ability to reason. It should be illegal.

Now I take it you wouldn't agree with that.

    4) This also assumes gay married couples have kids.

  • In 10-20 years we'll be past it and nobody will talk about gay marriage...similar to interracial marriage. Sure, you'll have some rednecks at their dinner table for awhile saying "guess what abomination I saw today two MEN holding hands and taking their poor child with them while taking him out for ice cream"

But nobody will care. The anti-gay people are significantly outweighed by the majority. It's the way that first-world countries, like the US, are headed. Anybody who doesn't get on board with it will just continue beating a dead horse until they expire.

  • See, the reason why gay marriage doesn't work - if you rub two sticks together, you get friction, heat then fire.

What you don't get are two sticks with opposite polarity that are attracted to one another without making fire. Ergo, by my example, homo's just don't make no sense.

Whether you meant to or not, you just totally made man action sound ridiculously hot.

now who wants to rub sticks?

  • Outside of the magnets... the better reason is, moral decay of natural real marriage -

a building block for society. You think it's harmless to take "mother" and "father" out

    of marriage?

The answer is more complex that you may think it is. It has a whole lot to do with

    healthy self-actualization of human beings.

A child cannot assimilate healthy relationships, easily, by being raised by same sex people.

For any exception somebody may find... a multitude of situations are available to show

that socialization requires both sexes involved in a healthy, well-adjusted, insightful and

instinctive self-actualization. Society is made of up two sexes. To play antagonistic mind games

with reality is just perverse in this case. Society has a right, and a need, to protect itself for the sake

of the individuals in that society, while maintaining the protection of the individual.

This requires a balance for the survival of the society.

    From Wikipedia:

"A human society is a group of people involved in persistent social interaction, or a large social grouping sharing the same geographical or social territory, typically subject to the same political authority and dominant cultural expectations."

The family is a basic structure - a tiny microcosm of society. Anything outside of real marriage - male-female -

is a perverted construction that defies reality - not only contradicting normal, healthy, biological, emotional and physical

relationships between opposite sexes dominant over recorded history....

but it also defies the makeup of society - both sexes.

I believe that the perversion of real marriage is destructive to the healthy self-actualization of children. Remember, we are talking

about little children in the beginning process of self-actualization.

And, to someone who inevitably will spout off about single parent homes, that's easy - those children usually still

have associations with grandparents, who will be different sexes - and right there is a conflict of defining real marriage

vs a distortion of reality in some kind of "gay couple adopted" scenario.

It's often tough enough being adopted, far worse so, in a perversion of real, natural marriage situation.

In a perfect world I "Might" agree with you Cal, but humans are so thoroughly fucked in the head across the board that it honestly doesn't matter anymore if children are raised with same sex or opposite sex parents. None of us come to know who we are yet we have children regardless and that ends up fuckig them over way more than having two magnets of the same polarity as parents....sorry couldn't resist that's just too fucking hilarious.

Anyway....I would tend to agree that two humans of opposite sex that have properly actualized themselves would probably be the optimal situation for raising children. But it doesn't happen here so it's pointless. It's a fallen world remember?

  • Two loving parents, regardless of gender, are always better than an abusive parent, a negligent parent etc.

  • I dealt with tons of kids who would have been better off with gay parents who actually wanted to be parents as opposed to the scum they ended up with.

  • 1) So then divorce should be illegal, right?

    2) Parenting aside, married couples don't have to have kids. The issue right now isn't gay adoption/parents, just gay marriage. Why should gay marriage be illegal?

I don't think you're right on either topic, but breaking the two up will help keep this "debate" focused.

  • Divorce does not equal a perverted distortion of what true, natural marriage is as defined.

And yes, we all know married couples don't have to have kids. has nothing to do with what we are talking about as usual.

The idea is that most of them do, and nearly all of them can.

There is no gay couple that can. Go buy yourself a couple of strong magnets and come back

when you can stick to the subject.

    Forget it, he's rolling.

  • Human sexuality mostly is, but the difference is unnatural and perverted,

It is attraction by opposites. Obviously, there are exceptions with human beings,

but accentuates the perverse aspect of it.

It's sad - but a few people around here seem so much like magnetiphobes.

It actually isn't like a magnet at all. It is on a scale, not two polar ends only.

Your main argument against gay marriage seems to be gays raising kids. You also don't have veery much to prove it is worse to be raised by a gay couple. Even assuming it is, and your concern is the kid, there are two big points you need to address:

    1) Divorce. A single parent household, under your reasoning earlier, will produce similar negative results. If this is enough for you to keep gay marriage illegal, you should be for making divorce illegal.

    2) Not all married couples have kids. You keep assuming the two ideas are one in the same. Let's say gays are banned from adopting kids, can they get married then?

and yes, this is all a pointless exercise. It will be legal everywhere soon enough

  • People who supposedly (at least in your mind) make less-than-optimal parents should not be able to get married. I mean, I disagree, but let's roll with it for a moment, can you point me to the massive protests against the following people getting married:

    Alcoholics

    Drug users

    Criminals

    Both full time employed

    Both unemployed

    Blind/deaf/other disabled people

People who will most likely get divorced

    Atheists

    Anti-vaxxers

    Black people

There's a whole host of groups of people you can look at that are sub-optimal parents, because the group of optimal-parents is so negligibly small.

Well like it or not the numbers do seem to support that idea.

But of course children be damned. People have rights and who cares if their desire fucks up a child's life.

I'm not convinced that they do, but the numbers definitely support other groups of people not being good parents, and that was the point I was making. Why aren't we protesting drug users getting married, if it's only about the quality of parent they will be?

    We?

I think we are far too lax in our morality when it comes to rearing children. There should be some shame involved and some responsibility. But it appears to me at least that one of the main ideas of the left is to assuage feelings of guilt and morality in return for votes.

I thought it was to instil white guilt to make giving free stuff to black people OK? Or am I getting mixed up?
