Maybe we can keep the freaks from degrading such a wonderful, uplifting post. Thanks Cal.

Degrading the post? What the hell are you babbling on about? I did no such thing. All I did was offer a counterpoint to Cal's topic, and I was neither rude nor discourteous in going about it. I have no clue why my responses were deleted, but I PM'd WSS about it and he will inform me in due course.

I got news for you jblow, they can delete any post they feel like, without a reason.

This is their board, so they can do as they please. I'll reserve my judgment until I get a response back from Steve.

I was reading the trash you leftist atheistic trolls called "posts" on the earlier thread
and it was clear you have NOTHING to add to the discussion.
and thanks to whoever pulled the crap responses also....

Oh no, here comes another deleted thread!
Seems people aren't so fussed about a supposedly revelatory tablet that proves the bible but took 15 years to gain awareness.

The only boards I have any jurisdiction over whatsoever is this one as moderator and my own movie page. This is their board, so they can do as they please. I'll reserve my judgment until I get a response back from Steve.
The actual administrators can do whatever they want wherever they want, but I don't think they deleted anything here. The only shit I mess with is like Walter White's death threats and Larry Fines suck my balls posts. And I think the administrators booted him.
(I can't even boot people, all I can do is ask aministration to do it which they may or may not)
I've been anti-censorship every since I've started here. Figure if somebody doesn't like something, don't read it.
If something got deleted I'm betting it was just a glitch. Shit happens. Or... The Lord Himself sent an angel from heaven to do it over which I have no control.

I fail to see how shape shifting into Mila Kunis is irrelevant in this discussion.

Atheistic troll? Preposterous. As I recall, the gist of Cal's post is that some tablet found in Jordan mentions dying and resurrection after three days, without mentioning Jesus by name at all I might add, and that this somehow "proves" that Jesus is real and that he really existed. To which I replied along the lines of that if we are using circumstantial archeological "evidence" to validate the divinity of a religious figure or the beliefs of a particular religion, that we can also lend creadance to other religions such as Islam, Scientology or Mormanism, since there is also ample archeological evidence of their religious figureheads existing as well.
Now it is regrettable that you seem to be aghast at the very thought of someone being critical in their critique of the religion that, I assume, you follow, but unfortunately for you, that is how rational and logical thinking goes sometimes. It's not trolling, it is using one's brain.
-
I made a point before it got deleted that it's pretty much guaranteed Jesus was a real person (albeit likely wasn't called anything close to jesus) - but that most people at this time were illiterate and lacking intellect (Like people in east cleveland, detroit, chicago) - but regardless he gained quite an exponentially growing following and managed to blah blah blah.
I was more interested in the discussion after that.
Otherwise people have talked about a messiah that would come, die, rise again forever. Only Christians believe that Jesus was that guy, Islam kinda does but don't believe he was crucified, Jews are still waiting for that guy.
-
^ yes I know, Ive heard that before too, far be it from me to get in the way of shapeshifting and ineuendo of the D
but really -what is so easily discarded by the skeptic here in America by the discoveries found in Israel,
are taken quite seriously by those who are seeking tangible proof to written ancient transcripts.
And they are mostly the Jews
but dont worry if you cant follow in the vain of scientific discovery to prove a biblical worldview

funny though how Islam, scientology , mormanism cant quite claim an ancient land currently conducting such digs?
the burden of proof lies with how the Jews are interpreting the tablet.
The author said that the discovery, which has attracted attention inside biblical and archaeological circles, is notable due to the fact that it “basically shows … that there were Jews in Jesus’ time who were expecting a suffering messiah.”
Critics have spent a century questioning the New Testament narrative, Hutchinson said, based on the claim that the story surrounding Jesus’ divinity and the reason for his crucifixion were conjured up after the fact — something that he believes the tablet dismisses.
Those opposed to the narrative in the gospels said that the Jews were expecting a conquering hero who would reestablish the Davidic kingdom and not a savior who would suffer, die and rise again, the author maintains.
they acknowledge Jesus first off....
BTW - THATS BIG for the jewish people

Atheists don't care, they swarm together at any religious post, spewing their garbage all over like, well cockroaches.
