    LOL, ya know there just might be some truth to what the OP is saying. For sure JM was drinking when he had the incident with the girlfriend. And then there's the rumors he's been sighted in bars of late.

    As BFR said- you roll up a bill in a bathroom for one thing. Well, if it was blow, didn't seem to affect Lawrence Taylor much.

    You guys don't have to believe this, as I can't prove it, but I have no reason to lie. But I figured it tell you guys if you didn't know, because we're all die hard Browns fans.

    I know a guy who lives with his girlfriend at Red Tail, the golfing community that Manziel lives at. Everyone remember when Manziel all of a sudden had the elbow tendinitis that supposedly has been bothering him since HS? There's a reason why it never showed up on anyone's radar during the draft process.. because it's a lie.

    Early in training camp he was drunk and was riding around on one of those little Razor scooters for kids. He fell and slammed his elbow on the concrete, and has been slowly recovering since then. Everyone at Red Tail knows this, even the old ladies who don't even care about the Browns.

    Also, the real reason Manziel went to rehab was for nose candy. Sure alcohol was a part of it, but it was mostly for the blow. I just don't get why Gronk parties with coke too, but no one cares..

    Anyways, just figured I'd let you guys in on that. Believe me if you want, or don't believe me.

    So you're saying the elbow is not a chronic condition... that would put it in the good news column.

  • I would think if he is doing blow it would show up in a drug test that would be reported. That is....if he is doing it now.

    If his rehab stint was for coke, I would think that that would put him into "The Program", which, correct me if I am wrong allows for numerous unannounced drug testing.

    I mean, didn't Josh Gordon get hit with like 50 tests when he was in the program just for weed?

    Yes, Josh was tested a bunch as is any player who is "in the program".

    I seriously doubt checking yourself into rehab earns your way in. I seriously doubt the NFL is privy to the reason he was admitted.

    We know from the earlier discussions that there is a very short window for a player's once-a-year random test... something like two or three months around August. If he gets and stays clean far enough in advance of his test, then he can pass and party until the next year's sober period comes along.

  • I know for a fact it was coke as one of my friends was one of the guys that supplied it. Namely the day they had to go find Johnny to report to his rehab at the Browns facility.

    This same friend is also good friends with Rubin and is still in contact with him he even got tickets from him to Seahawks home opener. The stories this guy has are priceless considering he really isn't a sports fan so he just talks about the players like they are random people. Probably why they trust him so much.

    I think it happened to help LT.. I mean things/chemicals affects people differently... Just sayin... But I think it helped enhance his vile state of mind , during games...

  • Like I said, you guys don't have to believe me. I could care less. Only reason I posted was to share with you guys what really happened. If I was a Browns fan I'd want to know too.

    If you call bullshit, go talk to anyone at Red Tail in Avon.

    I am most definitely a Browns fan, always have been always will be.

    I also really hope Johnny is our future, because I don't trust Ray to get the right one when we're picking top 5 in May.

  • If you volunteer for rehab it's a different set of rules than if you get busted and go to rehab.

    That's why I don't believe it. I'd like to think the Browns would cut bait, especially with Davis signing a three year deal.

    They would roll with Austin Davis as the two if Farmer didn't completely shit the bed in every draft.

    So there are sports reporters all over the country and plenty of them in the Cleveland area. Johnny Manziel his one of the most exciting stories in sports. None of these reporters bothered to go to the neighborhood he lives in and talk to any of the dozens of people who know what he was in rehab for and exactly how he injured his elbow?

  • I've heard all kinds of local stories about JManziel but haven't shared them because it could risk spreading false information 😉

    But I've heard things like, people who went to parties at his apartment last year had their phones taken away at the door and would barely see Manziel since he was in his room 90% of the time, some people got invited in, etc.

    Also I heard he would cram like 6 people into his skyline and go drive drunk to the bar pretty frequently.

    But it could all be bad information, I've heard some people say he's very respectable.
