There goes Cruz's NRA endorsement...

I don't see the big deal since it was broken down and clearly not posing a threat.
If it wasn't in the breakdown state then it would be lack of gun safety IMO
-
It's not that big a deal since its clearly unloaded, but the proper form is to carry it so the barrel points downwards, and not aimed backwards towards others.
Just a little bit of humor.

His gun handling isn't that bad given it is broken down. He could take Uncle Joe's advice and blast holes in doors without identifying what is behind it haha.

Pretty standard "rest position" for big bird hunts. Especially with over/unders.

clearly unloaded...
I don't do that... to me, it's bad form, even when
hunting with friends who all know we've unloaded our guns.
Or, haven't loaded them yet.

It should be fine, as long as nobody tries to pull on the end of the shotgun hanging over his shoulder with any appreciable amount of weight. It's just not the ideal form to carry it that way.

The thumbnail for the video below makes more sense.

The guy in the background of the gif is doing it the same way, so I'm guessing it's not *that* outrageous.
