I was wondering about the timeline, since he was in Columbus on Saturday and Cleveland today.
I think players were off from Wednesday through Sunday, hoping he stayed local and took preparations seriously.

From the article I read, Manziel insinuated that the video was old, but he also didn't deny anything. He was very vague and he wanted to discuss his visit to the food bank and the importance of service to the community.
I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, I really do, but has he deserved it? I'm not saying what he did was wrong, and nobody here knows the details of his treatment plan. Maybe he's allowed to go out to clubs and the coaches are fine with it. But here's the thing...it's all about the PERCEPTION. Manziel has to know that anything he does is going to be all over the internet, and he has to know that it's going to cause a distraction. I'm not saying it's FAIR, but it's the way it is.
I would love nothing more than to read that this incident was old, and it doesn't matter. But I just don't think we're going to hear that.
