Not hardly....see YOU later, Johnny. LOL!

  • If you want accountability, it has to start somewhere

  • I wanted to believe him after last game.

But no surprise here. The "league wrecker" has officially set us back 5 years.

  • The video is like eight seconds long. Come one what was the big deal. Its not like he had blood all over his suit and told everybody to lie to the Police in the limo. Oh wait that's a different "Leader" that was in Baltimore. People need to stop acting like everything Manziel does is horrible. This guy is at a bar singing with a bottle in his hand. SOOOOO WHATTTT. Pettine is terrible and he will be gone after this year. Manziels only problem is that he is immature. He will grow out of that type of stuff.

  • Well you guys can keep sticking up for Johny but he is supposed to be a leader and this is the kind of stuff you don't do when you are the leader. You didn't see Tom Brady out partying it up. Get rid of him and get someone who is willing to take on the responsibility that comes with the position.

Nah he was just out knocking up actresses, then ditching them for supermodels. Good example.

    I've got a six-pack that says a hell of a lot different.

Set us back from where? Everything about this organization is garbage

While winning Superbowls and being arguably the best QB in the league.

  • Pettine is a numbskull dipshit and I can't wait until he is fired.

  • I seriously was hoping Johnny had it together and was the answer. I am sure I will be called a hater but you cannot count on a kid who spent 11 weeks in a rehab who is out partying again already. It is a simple reality. The kid is a time bomb waiting to blow. I wish this werent the case.

I have begrudgingly come to the conclusion Pettine likely needs to go. This decision however is not a factor in that.

  • What pisses me off is that we will never if Manziel would of been it. I was looking forward to these last six games to gauge that. Oh well next year we can start over with a new HC OC DC GM and QB.

  • Well, he was skating on thin ice....and he decided to jump on that ice and he has fallen in.

I mean, lets face it: Pettine wants Johnny to be a professional and act like a professional and play like a professional. Johnny, being handed the keys.....can't get off his own block before he hits a light pole apparently.

  • I lol'd.

Johnny is a dumbass IMO. Would rather see Austin Davis though

  • He did nothing wrong.

Yea, I too would like to see Austin Davis in action for the Browns. WTF.

  • He did nothing wrong.

Sure he did. He betrayed the trust of the front office....went off to his little stupid Texas World (Johnny....you haven't been a TAMU student for two years....stay away. You live in Ohio now. Stay in Ohio over work times. A bye week on the schedule does not mean you have a bye week from your job. )

  • He did nothing wrong.

He can't stay off TMZ. It's a problem for an NFL quarterback.

  • Can we move and say come back in say 2-3 years? I'm looking at you L A.

To those that say "he did nothing wrong". For a 22 year old with money? Nope, but for a guy who's supposed to be the face of the franchise? Grow out of that stuff? I'm not so sure. If he's got a substance abuse problem, hanging out in bars is the wrong place to be. Damn, can't people see after the girlfriend incident, I would bet the ranch the Browns staff got with Manziel and laid out very strict guidelines as to what he could, and couldn't do? I've said a couple of times in this thread- the Browns know DAMN EXACTLY WELL why Johnny was in rehab. If he couldn't follow what he was supposed to do- well, he's potentially pissing his NFL career down the drain. It had to be a pretty serious violation of those conditions to get benched. On top of that, his actions make Pettine look like an idiot for having to change course.

  • Doesn't look like it took slippin Jimmy and suga ray long to finally see the real lil john. Very unfortunate and sad that yet another browns QB busted after 2 years. Nonetheless, while most of us will appreciate the irony of why he failed here, his little possy will completely misconstrue what the actual issue is with him.

This isn't about drinking, this isn't about rapping in a club, this isn't about drinking while rapping in a club. So if you're sitting there pissed off at Pettine for benching lil john, then its very likely youre only 22 and wish you could be manziel.

Zombo said it well...the kid finally gets the keys to the offense, and his first action is to go celebrate rather than work. The main problem here is lil john made an agreement with the club and he broke that agreement. This is called accountability...to those of you youngons that are obviously unfamiliar.

Like it or not, the browns are business, and that business has a bottom line. You don't throw good money on bad, and ole johnny boy has proven over and over again to be bad money. Its only a matter of time before the kid really fucks up, and I commend the team for shutting this whole circus down before he does anymore damage.

It doesn't matter if he's the second coming of sipe, he can't be trusted to o what best for his team or teammates.
