  • This is completely ridiculous.,Pettine was just looking for a reason and he found it. He cant stand Manziel and it shows. Manziel at least deserves a chance to prove he can be a starting quarterback in the NFL. He played well against the Steelers and his progress was showing. Go Browns.

  • Well you guys can keep sticking up for Johny but he is supposed to be a leader and this is the kind of stuff you don't do when you are the leader. You didn't see Tom Brady out partying it up. Get rid of him and get someone who is willing to take on the responsibility that comes with the position.

    Question is- will Manziel ever see the field again as a Brown? This looks like the last straw. Apparently Farmer and Haslam are on board with the decision.

  • The video is like eight seconds long. Come one what was the big deal. Its not like he had blood all over his suit and told everybody to lie to the Police in the limo. Oh wait that's a different "Leader" that was in Baltimore. People need to stop acting like everything Manziel does is horrible. This guy is at a bar singing with a bottle in his hand. SOOOOO WHATTTT. Pettine is terrible and he will be gone after this year. Manziels only problem is that he is immature. He will grow out of that type of stuff.

  • I seriously was hoping Johnny had it together and was the answer. I am sure I will be called a hater but you cannot count on a kid who spent 11 weeks in a rehab who is out partying again already. It is a simple reality. The kid is a time bomb waiting to blow. I wish this werent the case.

    I have begrudgingly come to the conclusion Pettine likely needs to go. This decision however is not a factor in that.

  • What pisses me off is that we will never if Manziel would of been it. I was looking forward to these last six games to gauge that. Oh well next year we can start over with a new HC OC DC GM and QB.

  • Well, he was skating on thin ice....and he decided to jump on that ice and he has fallen in.

    I mean, lets face it: Pettine wants Johnny to be a professional and act like a professional and play like a professional. Johnny, being handed the keys.....can't get off his own block before he hits a light pole apparently.
