They became the Bears in 1922. The Cardinals name has been used since 1920....but of course they have been from Chicago to St. Louis to Arizona, so that part of the name has changed.

    In basketball....it is The New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics, both in use in the original 1946-47 NBA season.

    Newton certainly instils more fear for a qb sneak than does Johnny that's for sure.
