The Browns were staying at my hotel. Johnny checked in a night early (Sat. Night) and I was there to witness it. When his Browns career is over I will share the story.
I don't want to add to the TMZ-like rumors and innuendos about this kid. He's a young man and sometimes we forget he's a real person.
I would start him over Davis, being demoted to third string for a nationally televised game was enough of a punishment.

I know the story and if anyone wants to paypal my charity account $50, I'll share the story privately with anyone who pays for it.

Interesting take here with comments near the end of the larger video, "And if he messes up you let him go. You don't just put him on the sidelines."

If you don't tell the story someone may start spreading rumors about You and Z and Johnny together with a sheep or something.

I wasn't even in Cleveland this past weekend...but I know the story and figure since Z doesn't want to share it yet...I can make a few bucks for my charity fund in memory of my mom. If someone is willing to pay, I'll share the story.

If you tell it, then it would be hearsay.....disallowable. We need to hear it from the horse's mouth.....or the sheep's ass.

March 15. The Ides of March. Former Superbowl winner Julius Caesar would approve of this date as apropos of the Browns. LOL!

A thought I do not remember seeing discussed anywhere.
Did the pressure of being named starter drive JM to party over the Bye week? Question rose out of reflecting upon what his father, IIRC, said long ago about JM drinking to deal with pressure.
Not offering the thought as an excuse, just exploring as a potential reason why he would break his word.

I think it's more about his sense of entitlement than pressure
