  • Who the hell is he going to throw the ball to? I'm not sure how severe Benji's shoulder injury is, but I don't think it was the "day to day" variety. Brian Hartline is probably our best receiver now (stop laughing), and I believe he got dinged up as well. So are we rolling out with Brian Hartline, Jennings, Bowe (I'd like to think he might actually suit up), and then Terrell Pryor?! Any word on if Barnidge is healthy enough to play?

If you want to see what you have in a young QB, this is just about the WORST possible scenario. "OK Johnny, here's the deal. We don't have a running game, you'll be running for you life, and your receivers probably won't be open. Good luck."

Yeah, what you just said. I hope Pryor has retained enough of the offensive playbook to actually contribute. It really is time to see what Manziel can do, other that party like it's 1999.

Im glad too. The browns are throwing this dumbass in there for the next 4 games. (doubt he can physically hold up) just to validate moving on from this arena league scrub.

I for the first time am hoping for a complete face plant from a browns qb. I have not liked the player or pick from the first moment. And to be quite honest this stupid ass has not shown anything worthy of even holding Colt McCoy's jock strap. If he gets injured I will cheer. We are wasting time with his SUB MEDIOCRE talent. I would honestly like to see more of Austin Davis's skillsets but hey we all know Haslem is in favor of folding to media and unknowledgable fan pressures.

I would never wish injury on any player, especially one playing for the Browns.

  • And I will never wish that again. Just this stupid fuck. He wont be with the browns in 2016 so it really is no biggie

You could have Steve Vai Al Di Meola and Eddie Van Halen in your band but no guarantee it would wind up sounding great.

Would that be the equivalent of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love?

I hate basketball but are Irving and Love the best in the game?

That's what Tony Grossi said yesterday.

Of course that could all change if Johnny doesn't lies about cleaning up his room.

    lol... Fixed.

Too bad it didn't fix the season.

As much as DiMeola and Vai are the best at their game.

In other words....they are all well thought of....but who is best is up for debate.

Talent wise, it may be. With all the fufarole about the defensive coaching, people forget that the Browns had their OL coach fired at the beginning of the year. And losing the coach caused loss in continuity.

I can pretty much guarantee that wouldn't sound great

Well, right now that honor goes to Step Curry. He throws up a shot, 1\2 the time it's going in. Radar controlled. Really, 47% from three point land- that's flat out insanely good. You usually don't see 50% shooting except from big guys like Dwight Howard- who are scoring all their points on dunks.

That said, Love and Irving are mighty good players. Love will probably make the All Star game, and Irving would be likely, if he hadn't had to sit out rehabbing his busted knee.

  • Even for Johnny-Come-Lately?

  • As far as I am concerned, part of JFF's "punishment" or rehab, should be that it stays off fucking twitter or any other such nonsense. After all, wasn't it posting something on instaface# of some such what got him in trouble.

Take Johnny's phone away......make him carry a flip phone, like I do.

Not really tour, not for anybody I don't think.

Remember I'm not betting my life he's going to be Joe Namath it's just that we don't know and I think the whole thing has been mishandled from the draft to this minute.

Agree... had it not already been taken "The Clash" would have been a good name for their group.

Maybe if dropped Vai for Segovia?

  • Haven't heard the presser yet? Did Pettine name Johnny QB this week, or is the lesson going to continue? Damn Pettine and his lessons!!!

He said he hasn't made a decision yet and that he will name the starter tomorrow

Maybe he can be like Romeo Crenell, and just flip a coin. 😕

  • Guess what! Pettine hasn't named a starter! Someone jumped the gun. why did they draft Manziel if they were going to play head games with the fans. As Gruden said last week "Let the kid play"

Nope! Pettine hasn't named a starter yet. They apparently don't need to see what Manziel can do for the last few weeks. Even if he starts, where's his confidence? Where's all his weapons?

    Nope

  • Nope....the real issue is that Johnny overslept and missed his weight training this morning....day after his Birthday....

    Prolly out all night partying......

Anyhoo....the good news is that Pettine actually seems to have his back....or at least isnt coming out bitching about it....just said he could make it up later....

None the less.....seems like they name him starter and he does something stupid or irresponsible....every time....

He'll still probably start...but seriously, the kid is a train wreck....

Please tell me you made that up.

  • Mud-if true then leave him on the bench. He obviously does not want to play for the Browns (or anyone else if this continues). Pettine would be justified in leaving him where he is.

Is there a link to the source?

  • Only thing i heard was he spent his Bday home after the game with his dog.
