In the top 10, possibly the 49ers depending on who they hire and whether the guy wants Kaepernick or not. No way the Cowboys trade up for a QB.

Outside the top 10 there's the Bears, Saints, Eagles and Rams at 11,12,13 and 15 who could be in the market for a QB.

You'd pretty much have to trade back but stay in the top 10 and hope one of the two between Dallas and San Francisco doesn't draft a QB.

If you want to choose your QB, then you can't go further than #3. Give the Chargers a call to trade back and they'll know you're taking a QB, so they'll stay put at 3. So my take is that you either draft your guy at #2 or trade back if you can to get a bunch of picks and take BPA, hoping Carson Wentz or Connor Cook are still on the board at 32.

I'd try to steal Kirk Cousins in FA. Then draft the best defender available at #2.

I like Cousins, but there's no way he's leaving Washington. If they can't get a deal done they'll franchise him.

Best you can do in FA this year is Bradford or Osweiler, and there's no certainty either one will hit the market.

  • Why in the world would a team give up a franchise quarterback? And if he isn't why in the world would we want him?

"Kirk, where else but Cleveland will you have the chance to outplay another former Heisman winner and put him on the inactive roster for a season?"

  • What Johnny Manziel's hometown knows....

Harley Hooper Johnny pop warner coach remembers when as a 12 yr. old player he would stand in the middle of the field and throw 50 yrd. bombs that would clank off a rusted goalpost..People have been counting him out his whole life but he thrives on proving them wrong said Hooper.Never have I ever seen a player with the competive drive as Johnny. If you tell him he can't do something he gonna do his bestto show you he can. Yes he has issues but if ever gets them under control the sky the limit.

ummm....why?(throwing the balls off goalposts I mean)

I was never a big believer that Johnny was good. He just doesn't have an nfl skill set. I was in favor of playing him some because Josh Mccown sucks as well......you can't win with either of those bums.

That certainly holds true to his partying aspirations in life.

That explains why rehab didn't work for him.

"Johnny you can't keep doing this to yourself"

Seriously though, if he had an NFL skill set then it would be worth it to keep working with him and plan our future around him.

But he doesn't...his high school coach's word probably isn't going to change anybody's mind.

    ---

Even if he does control his "demons", he still has to figure out how to read a defense, throw from the pocket. Not sure which one will be hardest for him.

  • Never have I ever seen a player with the competive drive as Johnny.

Such an OVERRATED quality in an NFL Player. Brandon weeden, Ken Dorsey, and Charlie Frye were Fierce competitors. Hell break out the Corn hole boards and a few beers I'll show u a competitive drive.

I have plenty of competitive drive...just none of the other physical qualities to be a NFL QB. Damn near the whole country has competitve drive. Find me a QB with NFL talent.

Exactly...there's no way Cousins or Osweiler are leaving Washington or Denver.

  • Good to know.

He's a very mediocre NFL Quarteback and an absolutely horrible Cleveland Brown.

Can someone in town get him a job?

Let me make some calls. I'm sure there will be some part time medial work for him. I'd say full time but JM doesn't have time for a job right now, he's busy. Maybe a glory hole in a dark truckstop bathroom?

Peewee coach says he just needs to concentrate on football and skys the limit. Footwork, wr progression, pocket awareness, reading defense, reading his own offense, command the huddle, and accuracy. These things will just fall into place for him.

  • We all can say what we want and yes I have read what others think and want all I am saying is I want to keep him. I would hate to see him go to another team and do great things. You think he makes us look bad? Our record in the past 16 seasons makes us look bad,

  • But they spent 100,000 to find out Bridgewater was better. I could have told them for free to take Carr. (Wanted Bortles) So anything discussed about the draft is speculation. Haslam is clueless about talent. He worked for the Steeleres didn't he? Now he's hired a human computer and a baseball genius to fix the mess he created.

Any potential Head Coach they interview must be on board with Haslam's New Unconventional Approach. And Sashi Brown having final say of the 53 man roster.

    Who will it be?

Ummmmmm wow , well that's great. My third grade teacher thought I would be the president someday yet here I am posting lol
  • Hometown Billy Manning at nationwide says "this awesome comeback starts right here" 😁

  • The fact that this thread exists. .. compounded with his play on the field and total lack of dedication to the organization is why we can not wait to get rid of the little fucker.

We did not have idiots from Kentucky, Akron, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma State bombarding us with with useless horseshit ... yet Couch, Frye, Quinn and Weedeh sucked nonetheless and we all dealt with it.

Manziel is the only one to actually SHIT on the organization. ... and you can all go to hell.

Because my allegiance belongs to the Cleveland Fucking Browns.

  • Hey I bleed Brown and Orange. I love the Browns and always support the team. I don't think his off the field issues is "shitting" on us, He did not as far as I know come out and throw us under the bus. We don't know what was going on if he didn't have a injury and Pettine was just saying that not to play him for another video then whatever but the way he saw it he was not playn. We have other Browns players sayn he is a baller and now JT is sayn he wants out pending on a new coach? Maybe Joe knows Johnny is going to be what we need and sees us going elsewhere. NONE OF US KNOW ANYTHING what is going on but believe me it is coming out soon

  • I vow to not read or comment on Johnny Manziel ever again. So sick of it man I could seriously barf in someone's face.
