Even if he does control his "demons", he still has to figure out how to read a defense, throw from the pocket. Not sure which one will be hardest for him.

Such an OVERRATED quality in an NFL Player. Brandon weeden, Ken Dorsey, and Charlie Frye were Fierce competitors. Hell break out the Corn hole boards and a few beers I'll show u a competitive drive.

I have plenty of competitive drive...just none of the other physical qualities to be a NFL QB. Damn near the whole country has competitve drive. Find me a QB with NFL talent.

Peewee coach says he just needs to concentrate on football and skys the limit. Footwork, wr progression, pocket awareness, reading defense, reading his own offense, command the huddle, and accuracy. These things will just fall into place for him.

But they spent 100,000 to find out Bridgewater was better. I could have told them for free to take Carr. (Wanted Bortles) So anything discussed about the draft is speculation. The fact that this thread exists. .. compounded with his play on the field and total lack of dedication to the organization is why we can not wait to get rid of the little fucker.
We did not have idiots from Kentucky, Akron, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma State bombarding us with with useless horseshit ... yet Couch, Frye, Quinn and Weedeh sucked nonetheless and we all dealt with it.
Manziel is the only one to actually SHIT on the organization. ... and you can all go to hell.

Hey I bleed Brown and Orange. I love the Browns and always support the team. I don't think his off the field issues is "shitting" on us, He did not as far as I know come out and throw us under the bus. We don't know what was going on if he didn't have a injury and Pettine was just saying that not to play him for another video then whatever but the way he saw it he was not playn. We have other Browns players sayn he is a baller and now JT is sayn he wants out pending on a new coach? Maybe Joe knows Johnny is going to be what we need and sees us going elsewhere. NONE OF US KNOW ANYTHING what is going on but believe me it is coming out soon

Johnson, Whitner and Len Dawson all said that Johnny has what it takes to be a good q.b.. Fifth most passing yrds of all Browns q.b. and most rushing yrds of any browns q.b. in very limited playing time.Haters will always hate wouldn't matter what he did a lot of you anointed him as the starter next season after the Chiefs game. Goff and Lynch wouldn't even be in the first rd if they were in last yr draft if they were eligible Manziel miles better. Google Manziel on Wipi ltall the records in high school and at Texas AM the SEC then tell me he has no talent its way to early to say he can't play .

I was never a big believer that Johnny was good. He just doesn't have an nfl skill set. I was in favor of playing him some because Josh Mccown sucks as well......you can't win with either of those bums.

Yeah- and Duante Culpepper could throw the ball 90 yards on the fly- that lasted a year or two. Tim Couch could throw the ball 60 yards + from his knees. Wish I could dig up that video of trick shot Tanney, who could do way better stuff than JM. Weeden could bust clay pigeons with passes. So big whoop.
Manziel's off field competitive drive seems to be being able to drink anyone else under the table.
That certainly holds true to his partying aspirations in life.

UM, HS and college records don't mean jack shit in the NFL. Just ask Colt McCoy- and a few dozen other NFL wannabes. The list of Heisman bust qbs in the NFL is a long one. Tim Tebow, Troy Smith, Matt Leinart, Jason White, Eric Crouch- want me to go on?
In fact- that was one of the reasons I was totally against drafting Manziel in the first place.
