  • Don't have n.f.l. skill set ? He has started 7 games and you already come to this conclusion ? That's funny I think I will take what Sherman , D. Johnson, Whitner and Len Dawson all said that Johnny has what it takes to be a good q.b.. Fifth most passing yrds of all Browns q.b. and most rushing yrds of any browns q.b. in very limited playing time.Haters will always hate wouldn't matter what he did a lot of you anointed him as the starter next season after the Chiefs game. Goff and Lynch wouldn't even be in the first rd if they were in last yr draft if they were eligible Manziel miles better. Google Manziel on Wipi ltall the records in high school and at Texas AM the SEC then tell me he has no talent its way to early to say he can't play .

I bet he could throw a football over them mountains!

When he is back home selling cars, Johnny can tell you all about his NFL career.

  • And I will say again, If this was 2007 and it was Brady Quinn that was "being an ass" most of you would be defending him all the way. Even AFTER Quinn was gone you were still crying smh.

Six months ago your post was echoed by plenty of Manzealots and wouldn't have phased me. To be this delusional at this point indicates you may need to seek professional help. "NFL Skill set " doesn't matter, he has no life skills set plain and simple. He is a time bomb that needs to go. Yes btw I believe he most certainly did shit on us and more than once.

I don't know what to say. Quinn was a polarizing instance. I predicted he would suck from the get-go. "it's a sin if we draft Quinn" (Give me one gold star). Manziel obviously has more on field talent than Quinn- but I wanted no part of his off-field antics. (Hoorta scores two gold stars, and should be promoted to head scout).

  • We all can say what we want and yes I have read what others think and want all I am saying is I want to keep him. I would hate to see him go to another team and do great things. You think he makes us look bad? Our record in the past 16 seasons makes us look bad,

I cant picture him on anyone's team. Name a locker room that would put up with that especially from a borderline talent ? Jerry Jones would probably rather deal for McCarron (earned respect from his locker room) rather than Billie (100% joke) Manziel.
  • He's done.

May as well cut Johnny Footballs 30-30 episode now and get it out the way.

Long Island Texas Tea : The Billy Manziel Story

  • I do remember some were against drafting Quinn and also remember people going nuts when we did. IDK I mean every other year we draft a QB to sit on the bench who is going to be our starter.................At what point do we do what others have and draft a QB and FUCKING START HIM?

  • When we draft a good one?

Never have I ever seen a player with the competive drive as Johnny.

Such an OVERRATED quality in an NFL Player. Brandon weeden, Ken Dorsey, and Charlie Frye were Fierce competitors. Hell break out the Corn hole boards and a few beers I'll show u a competitive drive.

I have plenty of competitive drive...just none of the other physical qualities to be a NFL QB. Damn near the whole country has competitve drive. Find me a QB with NFL talent.

but at least you'd pull your belt a little tighter and give it a shot right?

hell every time i walk through one of these steel framed doors and ding my elbow i act like i'm peyton manning getting my neck broke.

that's why i respect mccown so much. does a windmill at the 2 and i'm crying cuz i got a hangnail.

  • What Johnny Manziel's hometown knows....

Harley Hooper Johnny pop warner coach remembers when as a 12 yr. old player he would stand in the middle of the field and throw 50 yrd. bombs that would clank off a rusted goalpost..People have been counting him out his whole life but he thrives on proving them wrong said Hooper.Never have I ever seen a player with the competive drive as Johnny. If you tell him he can't do something he gonna do his bestto show you he can. Yes he has issues but if ever gets them under control the sky the limit.

Maybe we should tell him it is OK to go out and get shithammered every night.

Johnny Manziel is good at football, but he sucks at life, and to make it in the NFL, you have to be good at both. He's the ultimate 'me' player in the ultimate team sport. You want to know why he thrives on proving people wrong about him? Because he's all about HIMSELF. Why couldn't he prove THAT wrong? Because it's true.

How many chances has he had to be the man in Cleveland? How many times has he shown that he puts the party life above being a team leader? He is his own worst enemy. In case you missed it, LeBron's marketing agency dropped him. What does that tell you? He needs to go. If it were up to me, he'd have been cut after the Las Vegas stunt. Sashi Brown should be sending that message now.

  • In response to the original author, I will say this:

You make a good point. Supremely talented and competitive people often reach their goals, but right now Johnny is up against a totally different competitor. He's not going head-to-head with bigger, faster guys...he's going against himself and his inner demons. Addiction doesn't care if you're rich or poor, black or white, big or small. It doesn't play favorites. Nobody completely defeats addiction, the successful people merely keep it at bay through hard work and continued treatment. There are no shortcuts, there is no "easy way"...there is only admitting the problem, following a treatment plan, and CONTINUED therapy. A person struggling with addiction simply can't go to a ten week rehab facility and come out "cured". It doesn't work that way, ESPECIALLY for a person with wealth and status.

Yes, Johnny is competitive. He's likely been told for 15 years that he's too small, too slow, and not good enough. But he'll need more than competitive spirit to win this battle. He'll need to humble himself. He'll need to admit that he's basically powerless against his addiction, and without help, he needs to know that he'll never achieve his goals. I wish him the best. Our world is full of failed potential...I don't want to see anymore.

No NFL talent you fucking twat. Nobody denies he was a great college QB along with troy smith, tebow, quinn, and the rest of those losers.

Get the fuck out of here with your Johnny Drama bullshit. The only thing he has brought to this organization is drama.

I mean, are you like Alaniss Morrisette or somebody, lecturing us on Irony?

Irony is the fact that Churchill invented the term Iron Curtain....but that it was Gorbachev and Lech Walesa that dropped that curtain. (and not Reagan as some of his supporters think)

It is irony that it was the guy that created the Steel Curtain, Chuck Noll who was the one to drop it.

The only American with a good sense of irony I've ever known is Bill Hicks, get over it ❤

    Who is Bill Hicks?

But I think Bill Hickock had a sense of irony. Always played poker facing the door of the room....so he could see who or what was coming. The one day he violates his own rule, he gets shot in the back.

    Now...THAT is irony.

In Johnny's case you may have said that the floor is the limit.

As he is just as likely to be found lying face down on the floor in a pool of puke...than throwing TDs.

Sorry.....I think it likely that his hometown....or a lot of people in it, have been Johnny Enablers.

(yes...that is you Kerrville. My brother used to live there.....before JFF was born)

  • Good to know.

He's a very mediocre NFL Quarteback and an absolutely horrible Cleveland Brown.

Can someone in town get him a job?
