I don't think they'd use a search chopper in a scenario like that. And if he didn't, why in the sweet fuck is this even a story?
Drunk chick claiming to be ex girlfriend pounding on the door of an apartment screaming. Neighbor calls the police. Drunk chick says she's concerned for Johnny's safety and is uncooperative.

Maybe Johnny pounding on ex girlfriend apartment blacked out trying to apologize for banging out other girls last week, then ran off and ex girlfriend called concerned about blacked out Johnny running off by himself.

Gotta agree.....in fact, I see NO scenario that a police dept sends out a helicopter looking for anybody in a drunken spat wit their girlfriend...
well find out soon enough, Im sure.....but there HAS to be more to the story if they are flying helicopters around looking for this guy...
Id believe it if there was a possible threat to hurt himself?......or maybe if he was wasted drunk and driving????.....or maybe some more famous guy entitlement treatment?....
But just to look for a guy cause his girl friend was worried?.....No feking way...

By the way, I'm sure I missed a rib tickler but what is your countdown pertaining to?
When this thread reaches 30 pages, will our long national nightmare be over?
We're going for 50, or until he gets sent packing.

Yup....
My favorite comment "Manziel’s riding with Al Cowlings in a white bronco."

I thought of that too AG.

See below.....
JF with a reality TV show would be a big hit. This dude is a magnet for drama.
I wouldn't doubt Bravo! Has already contacted him. Already better than "The Real Housewives of Atlanta". Steve, you do know people actually watch Keeping up with the Kardashians. ? Food Network wants him too- "Johnny Rates the best Bars".
Manziel is by far the most consistent qb the browns have had since 99.
Consistently entertaining.

Manziel is a joke. He sucks and is an idiot.

Well, Broadway Johnny is now a flop. He has serious problems - and trading him
is now going to be a joke, maybe.
what a waste of a draft pick. He never was a fit for the Browns, or their locker room...
dammit, Farmer and Pettine.
dammit.

Farmer and Jimmy.
Let's not hang Johnny on Pettine. He was stuck with him like we were stuck with him. He did his best. It wouldn't have mattered.
Johnny was a red flag that blew up in their faces.
Red flags tend to do that.

I was thinking:
She hunted him down in Dallas and found him partying with his bros and hoes and she threw a fit, so he bitch slapped her.
She got back to her place and called police.
In the meantime he was texting her saying how sorry he was, and how down he was.
So when the cops showed up, she didn't want to tell them about the slap, just wanted them to find him safe since he was so down.
Then after the helicopter manhunt, they found him sleeping on his buddy's couch with two hoes.
They high-fived him and left.

With that - we welcome 2 Harvard Grads and Sashi to steer us away from very visible glaciers that sink ships. For example, when Gilbert's former coaches say his work ethic sucked - reg flags should have counted more than the ego of 1 big Dumb Ass. I'm sure our scout presented this to the Goofball in charge so I can definitely see how frustrating it might have been for ANY coach to try to work around his land mines.
Even before Farmer signed up to look like a Foxworthy punchline, it would have been nice for our personnel exec to compare the work ethic of Julio Jones vrs Phil Taylor. It's an important enough intangible to understand why 1 career is already over while the other heads to a Pro Bowl. 1 guy was wired to overcome injury while the other was wired to invite more injuries by never getting himself in shape.
If we think we've been bad at drafting QBs - this is the defensive linemen/edge rushers we drafted in round 1:
Courtney Brown - just ran at him rather than feed his backside clampdown like the tape of the Michigan matchup revealed. The second Jamir Miller replaced him - we magically got the Pro Bowl pass rush we hoped to get from Brown.
Gerrard Warren - his inner chest had a bigger echo than the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz. Rumored to take a lot of plays off pre-draft so lucky us...
Kam Wimbley - after a decent rookie year, teams ran AT him and threw into the flats around him. Game on didn't last as long as game over. The perfect alternative was Haloti Ngata who was wired to excel in a 2 gap scheme our HC allegedly preferred with the understanding Lamar Woodley would be available in our draft slot in round 2. I don't think Pittsburgh grabbed him until round 3 if memory serves me right so he would have been on our doorstep there as well. A lot of the FSU edge rushers coming out Andrews' unique wide edge alignments were finding tougher sledding in the NFL except for maybe Peter Boulware.
Phil Taylor - his memorable hustle play or 2 vrs the Cincy Bengals or the 5.5 sacks he had 1 year wasn't enough to justify what we gave up when we had a personnel exec that thought first round draft picks were what one wipes his ass with when he has hemorrhoids.
Bark Mingo - Like Wimbley, he was in a 3 point stance more than a 2 point and the only endearing quality he had beside effort is ideal coverage skills. There were too many questions to draft him as high as we did like tackling, over pursuit and questionable instincts as well as a frame not built to take on 330 lb LTs.
Did any of the guys I just mentioned give us more reps or reliability than A. Rubin did from a late round? He was the lone survivor of our 2008 draft class that had no day 1 and kicked off with the alleged tackling machine named Beau Bell.
It's often said the marriage of HC and QB determines the success ahead. I can't dispute that at all. However, I feel the guy in charge of getting the gridiron chess pieces is just as important in determining how long a HC can last as we've seen over and over and over since 1999.

So you are saying you cannot mishandle the unhandleable?
A concept so unique I apparently had to invent a word to capture it...

I heard Jason Cole from Bleacher Report on radio today say he expects the Browns to just cut JM some time between now and two weeks from now and was leaning more towards sooner rather than later. He says he has now become untradable to any team in the NFL and likely would not be picked up by anyone when cut. He was speaking on a Cowboys sports program out of Dallas and specifically mentioned that Jerry no longer has any part of the decision making so whether he liked him or not, the FO team would reject it.

That would be out of the league in 2 years, meaning the smart predictors were right. He was a circus, a drunk and an entitled prick. What a waste of time and another hi draft pick.
