No he isn't just your normal everyday rookie quarterback, not by a long shot. But none of this shit I repeat absolutely fucking none of it has anything to do performance on the field.

I understand that it pisses you off but so what? Seriously the NFL investigated the last bunch of shit this crazy cunt claimed and found there was nothing to it. And this is a league scared of its own shadow and frightened to death by the appearance impropriety concerning domestic violence.

Come on, you think they really looked the other way in this case? Because they love the Browns so much?

    WSS

None of this shit can in any way help his performance on the field either. How many times does he have to be questioned, investigated, looked into by the police does it take for him to be considered a shit show that no team is going to want any part of?

All true Mark. But what I say is true as well. The kids an assholes and most of the problems or his own fault. But it dosnn't matter to the bottom line.

I won't waste my time listing all the great party boy quarterbacks of the past but you know what I mean.

To be honest? The one thing that keeps me from being 100% in his corner is the fact that he doesn't seem to give a fuck if he's here or not. And that, not all this bullshit by whiners who still have their panties in a bunch about Brian Hoyer, bothers me one way or the other.

Of course I'm on my 3rd flight of beers.

    WSS

  • No. I just dont like pricks and am willing to point them out when I see them. And that includes Johnny boy too.

That doesn't change how dumb your post was

I do know what you mean. And the party boy quarterbacks who have won have done something he hasn't done. Johnny hasn't won. The bold sentence is the most telling of all and why I 100% respect your opinion. I could give a shit about Hoyer. He was great for awhile...but he deserved to be put on the bench last season for the way he was playing. Unfortunately, Manziel was no where remotely close to being ready to start for the Browns at that point. You and I can agree....we want players who want to be playing for the Browns and the city of Cleveland. He doesn't want that...he doesn't care. Hopefully the next guy does.

  • Two things here... Great article that talks about the troubles he really might be having...

And then watch this interview with Ryan Leaf and hear from a guy who's hit rock bottom in his life and is trying to turn it around.

  • Ok, 50+ pages was good.

    Carry on here.

    Try to behave,

    Johnny would.

  • See the vindictive bitches still tmzing on Manziel. What a bunch of fucking cunts.

Ahem.. I had a nice reply set up in the other thread, and somebody locked it. 🙂 Fortunately I copied it before it went away..... LOL, we made it to 1,000 posts in that thread, good work guys.

    Maybe not.

Couldnt disagree more. Top performing pros use their spare time to refine their craft. They take care of their bodies, instead of polluting them. They get rest, instead of staying out all night. They study opponents, film and spend time in the weight room, insread of wearing disguises and sneaking off to gamble. There heads are in the game and not focused on covering their tracks. You cant live Johnnys lifestyle and perform like a top level athlete.

    Probably more lies from Johnny.

Regarding dedication to your craft- right on. More Johnny lies? He he got caught once before, why not again?

At this point in time I don't believe a word either of them says except that she says she and her friends went from Ft. Worth to Dallas to go bar hopping and somehow she ended up at his apartment. Who's stalking who here, the player or the golddigger? And why did he feel the need to drive her home rather than the drinker driving herself home? You guys are gullible as hell if you believe a word of this crap as pure gospel. Until I see a real investigation I don't believe either side of the story.

Exactly Ag, the thought occurred to me after my initial post. This well could be a chick caught in an abusive relationship (and we've all heard plenty about those). doesn't want to pull the plug on Manziel because there goes the jet set millionaire lifestyle along with it.

And why would he drive her home if he's dumped her? He's got tons of money to get her a cab- or a limo for that matter.

  • PS- I agree with Z- please can the nasty name calling. I may start deleting it. FWIW, it wouldn't be tolerated over on the other board.

I think they're both fucked in the head....

I posted this in the other thread....but my prediction....this is going to be Johnny in 5 years. He's going to sound just like this guy.

  • The story down in Dallas, is that manziel and his ex got into another fight,

and he slapped her up side the head, and she can no longer hear out of that

side, and threatened to kill her, and got back into the car, and she got out

a knife, and he said something about he'll kill himself, and then left, and she

called the authorities to report him, then hedged on his actions, but said

she was afraid he was a danger to himself and...

please, let this assholeness be over. Stupid ray farmer, hope your concience

    keeps you up at night.....

jm never was a fit for the Browns locker room, the fans, the NFL....

  • I so hated this draft pick then. Over my hated now. March right?

  • Clearly the make up sex must be mindblowing for those two. There is something to be said for that.

Not a new line as I read it earlier somewhere, but this time when I read:

Manziel told TMZ Sports Thursday "I have great things coming ahead,'' but declined to elaborate.

    I immediately thought of:

  • Winning can be a relative thing. Depending on how plastered you are, not pissing in your fridge can be a major accomplishment.

You open it. You close it. Your beer is there. 2 birds one stone.

As long as you don't piss on your beer. That is key.

Considering how shit faced you get, not falling down stairs, puking in your car, or passing out in a public place could be considered "winning".

  • Is there something in the board software that doesn't like long threads? Why not just keep the other one going?

  • Can we add a poll or something - should we cut, trade or keep Manziel? I think the cases are fairly self explanatory.

Mark-I watched that at the end of the other thread and the thought occurred to me that perhaps Ryan Leaf is the only person on this earth that could actually pull off a successful intervention with JM. Almost the exact same story of a great college player who fell from grace both athletically and personally in his short lived NFL QB career and only found himself when he hit his own rock bottom. Maybe he could team with Chris Carter and the TV show "intervention" along with JM's parents to actually do it JM's way, TMZ level with a "winning" outcome. JM is about to find out he is personal non grata for ALL NFL teams, but is apparently still under the self delusion that someone will pick him up in his current state of malfunction. This story has a long way to go and for his personal sake (not his football career), I hope it eventually ends somewhat like the inner peace we see with Leaf, who still acknowledges it is a day to day "win" totally different from Sheen's "winning:". Somehow Sheen has cars, houses and girls equated with winning, but all I see is "loser".

  • NFL investigating? Yea OK, Rice had video than got TKO. Hardy not only slapped his girl than paid her off to get off & got ? games. AP child abuser (after photo release). Mean while Gordon got season for Alcohol. Your move Rodger, Got a March 9th clause? or Coleen's Agent to get her paid off on hopes it all goes away? Stars all get caudled by higher authorities & the money makes it all go away. Sick & Sad in a land of Chances..
