  • The story down in Dallas, is that manziel and his ex got into another fight,

and he slapped her up side the head, and she can no longer hear out of that

side, and threatened to kill her, and got back into the car, and she got out

a knife, and he said something about he'll kill himself, and then left, and she

called the authorities to report him, then hedged on his actions, but said

she was afraid he was a danger to himself and...

please, let this assholeness be over. Stupid ray farmer, hope your concience

    keeps you up at night.....

jm never was a fit for the Browns locker room, the fans, the NFL....

  • I so hated this draft pick then. Over my hated now. March right?

  • Clearly the make up sex must be mindblowing for those two. There is something to be said for that.

Not a new line as I read it earlier somewhere, but this time when I read:

Manziel told TMZ Sports Thursday "I have great things coming ahead,'' but declined to elaborate.

    I immediately thought of:

  • Winning can be a relative thing. Depending on how plastered you are, not pissing in your fridge can be a major accomplishment.

You open it. You close it. Your beer is there. 2 birds one stone.

As long as you don't piss on your beer. That is key.

Considering how shit faced you get, not falling down stairs, puking in your car, or passing out in a public place could be considered "winning".

  • Is there something in the board software that doesn't like long threads? Why not just keep the other one going?

  • Can we add a poll or something - should we cut, trade or keep Manziel? I think the cases are fairly self explanatory.

Exactly Ag, the thought occurred to me after my initial post. This well could be a chick caught in an abusive relationship (and we've all heard plenty about those). doesn't want to pull the plug on Manziel because there goes the jet set millionaire lifestyle along with it.

And why would he drive her home if he's dumped her? He's got tons of money to get her a cab- or a limo for that matter.

I think they're both fucked in the head....

I posted this in the other thread....but my prediction....this is going to be Johnny in 5 years. He's going to sound just like this guy.

Mark-I watched that at the end of the other thread and the thought occurred to me that perhaps Ryan Leaf is the only person on this earth that could actually pull off a successful intervention with JM. Almost the exact same story of a great college player who fell from grace both athletically and personally in his short lived NFL QB career and only found himself when he hit his own rock bottom. Maybe he could team with Chris Carter and the TV show "intervention" along with JM's parents to actually do it JM's way, TMZ level with a "winning" outcome. JM is about to find out he is personal non grata for ALL NFL teams, but is apparently still under the self delusion that someone will pick him up in his current state of malfunction. This story has a long way to go and for his personal sake (not his football career), I hope it eventually ends somewhat like the inner peace we see with Leaf, who still acknowledges it is a day to day "win" totally different from Sheen's "winning:". Somehow Sheen has cars, houses and girls equated with winning, but all I see is "loser".

  • NFL investigating? Yea OK, Rice had video than got TKO. Hardy not only slapped his girl than paid her off to get off & got ? games. AP child abuser (after photo release). Mean while Gordon got season for Alcohol. Your move Rodger, Got a March 9th clause? or Coleen's Agent to get her paid off on hopes it all goes away? Stars all get caudled by higher authorities & the money makes it all go away. Sick & Sad in a land of Chances..

  • Don't you think the Manziel discussion thing has been worn out? It totally shocks me.... the interest this guy holds with the national media and the Cleveland media / fans. I didn't have any problem with the draft pick, and was hopeful, but not convinced he would be a good NFL qb. His style was suspect, after watching RG3 after his first year. I don't particularly consider myself a fast learner...since I still remain a Browns fan, but it didn't take long for me to see that Johnny Football was not NFL caliber. Yet, still...he has his defenders who expect him to be successful in the NFL. At this point, with the recent thing in Dallas, I just hope he doesn't come to some tragic end at such a young age. I've come full circle...going from liking the college Johnny.....to, can't wait to see him gone...to, hoping he bounces back, wanting to see him succeed. Obviously, there must be very little of interest going on in my life at the moment, to even be responding to this.

You're like the rest of us caught in watching the great American Tragedy played out before our eyes in America's Sport. From Friday Night Lights to Saturday night gutter. It is a tragedy regardless of how you feel about the player.

First of all since its all over the potential starting quarterback of our team, it's probably more important to the Cleveland Browns than any other story so far.

And not only cleveland but the nation seems fascinated. I mean when Geno Smith misses meetings or gets injured in a fist fight that he starts with the Jets sure, it's reported, but TMZ isn't camped out in front of his house.

And who knows why that is? I posted a link in the forbidden thread about 25 NFL players that were actually arrested in 2015. Could we list them without looking it up? Sure there's a place for discussion about whether this practice squad potential linebacker is more like Howie Long or Lawrence Taylor but this is interesting to some of us and clearly marked so that the rest can can easily avoid any discomfort of reading a post.

no one can tell/show/make another person stop until they are ready to. seeing examples first-hand may help (doubtful) but no one can change anyone else. ever. addict tendencies and urges are unimaginably hard for addicts to resist. ive seen a teacher duck under her desk rl quick and drink hand sanitizer w a full class nearby, a hookers knowingly service an hiv john to get her crack loot, a woman smoking a cig through the traech tube in her neck...not singling out females i just havent personally seen men do these things but i'm sure they do all this and worse as well.

to an addict awareness should be enough, but it almost never is. they allow it to happen. the consciously make that decision to cave and use, give in to it. to stop it's like something has to click. most who get out may have seen the light for years, but somehow get fed up and make that decosion to stop and that's it. some need full support long term, like pedophiles, others get lucky and say "no fucking more!!" and escape thru disgust. sometimes becoming a parent or getting pregnant is the catalyst for quitting. but none, ever stops until they themselves choose to.

that girl is like Josh Gordon's buddy, always around when Johnny gets hemmed up. is she the one with his heartbeat tattoo on her?

a restraining order against her is step 1, regardless of NFL or anything else in his life. that's certain.

  • Johnny if you're reading this I'd like $25,000. Give it to me before you go broke.

  • PS- I agree with Z- please can the nasty name calling. I may start deleting it. FWIW, it wouldn't be tolerated over on the other board.

  • All JFF bashing aside. This young man is heading down the road to tragedy. I just hope someone, someway, somehow can reach him before it happens. He needs intervention now.
