I think this shit is all my fault.
I keep reading that Johnny and his girl broke up in December, which led to this drama.
As many of you know, I was up for the Nov. 30 Browns game against the Ravens, and encountered Johhny and Coleen in the lobby.
What I didn't tell you ... was that after they checked in and were walking past me, I winked at Colleen.
Surprisingly ... she winked back. Seemed innocent enough.
But then as the elevator doors close I heard an aggitated Johny yell "Really??? You winked at that old douchebag???"
I imagine that is the fight that escalated all this.
And I apologize.

If his Dad and agent are extremely worried about him, and he has been to one rehab, and walked out of two this week ... Dude has major demons to work out ... crazy girlfriend or not.

ITA. The dashcam video from Avon revealed, to me anyway, a classic domestic abuse scenario. Once she realized police were involved and he could be arrested, she backed off. Very typical. She was NOT the one to call police in either situation. Bystanders felt enough was going on to get police involved. If she wanted to make up a bunch of crap just to get him in trouble, she would have called the cops herself. If she just randomly shows up to his hotel room trashed and looking for a fight, why doesn't HE call hotel security or police and have her removed from the premises? Possibly because he was none to eager to get cops involved himself? And just for the record, I don't think she totally innocent in it. Not at all. I think they both get off on the high drama and each one escalates to the next level until physical altercations are inevitable. His father's words bother me, too. He says if "they" don't get him help...who is "they"? The Browns? Just like it was "the school" when he was having trouble at A&M according to that espn magazine (?) article. This reeks of co-dependency and enabling, IMO.

You see, there is a difference between whatever the facts really are...which you have no clue about....and what the police do and think.
FYI.....no one lied.....the police DON"T believe her. If their comments on their reports say that she is being vague and uncooperative, that means they place NO credibility in what she says. In other words, they don't believe her.
Take it from one who has defended and heard these matters.
Again....this is not an absolution of JFF.....it is simply an indictment of her credibility.

Again, no one is granting a pardon to Johnny....except to say that the police do not think he committed the Domestic Violence that the report accuses him of. A woman that was punched or bitch slapped and drug by the hair would have physical signs of that about about her body.
I suspect she had none of that...plus there were 3rd parties there who probably contradicted her statements in the report.
So, at least it seems that for now....that is not one of his foibles.
If she had had that physical evidence, no matter how vague her statements were, or how much she did not want to cooperate, the police would have frog marched him into the jail.
But, you are right....that does not also mean that he does not have those demons.
(though one minor aspect of his demons could disappear along with the crazy girlfriend)

Only the witnesses that seen him smash her head in the Avon incident. a well deserved indefinite suspension is coming his career is over. but as Browns fans we can all thank him for making the Browns relevant a couple days before the Super Bowl

It's a manziel meltdown. I didn't hate him but I kinda hate him now after the Dallas police reporter just was on the bull and fox show reporting that he burst his girlfriend's ear drum hitting her. There's no scumbag worse than a scumbag who beats on people who can't fight back.
