Browns Missed QBs
-
Interesting article from a ravens site
Basically the premise is, going by where we picked, who could we have had? Not comparing to the QBs we ended up with - we all know how that's gone. But basically saying, because of where we've drafted, or who we currently had (ie Tim Couch meant not picking a QB high in 2000-02 for example), that in the last 15 years, the only real bad passes have been Rodgers and Big Ben.
Johnny Manziel over Derek Carr looks disastrous.
Or "David Carr" as this Ravens idiot writes.

Ah but those who ignore the past are doomed to repeat it. Like a QB reach for example when a better edge rusher is on the table. Have we ever done that or will this be a first?
Sonny Weaver approves of this message.

Let's see, the list of starting QB's in Baltimore looks like:
Vinny Testeverde
Jim Harbaugh
Trent Dilfer
Scott Mitchell
Eric Ziere
Stoney Case
Tony Banks
Elvis Grbac
Jeff Blake
Kyle Boller
Randall Cunningham
Chris Redman
Anthony Wright
Steve McNair
Troy Smith
Matt Schaub
Jimmy Clausen
Ryan Mallet
Joe Flacco
Looks like the Browns weren't the only team looking for a QB over the last 20 years.

Well except for one minor little difference. Two of those Ravens QB's actually won Superbowls.

There are 15 warm bodies between Dilfer & Flacco, so even Ozzie struggles to find a decent QB.Well except for one minor little difference. Two of those Ravens QB's actually won Superbowls.
Don't forget AG, guys like Jeff Hostetler, Brad Johnson, and Jim McMahon were SB winning QB's too!

Only/biggest regret of all these was in not picking Rodgers.
