I said Broncos get Kap, 49ers get Johnny, Browns get mid round picksNo. I'd much rather see us take Goff or Wentz. IMO, both are much more cerebral than Kaep, are more accurate, and are much better at going through their progressions. Kaep struggled when they tried to hem him into more of a pocket passer role.
If we land Kaep and THEN take one of those two, I'm fine with it...but that wouldn't make sense.

Time is a tickin'. It looks like Hue and co. are staying with draft plans. With all the qb's you mentioned maybe the best thing to do right now is nothing. Hoorta that's a good article & Truth McCown played as not any of us expected. Two problems, When John Elway got himself no option at QB & Hue Jackson can't count his future on Josh. I would consider their knowledge on Kap over a guy at MMQB/si. Your rookie QB drafted probably does not play, neither are ready imo. Kap obviously is not the same player he was but Elway & Jackson have or know a system that may get him back. Kaps QB coach this season was Steve Logan, he coached with Tomasula in World league something Fire. Listened to Logan's radio show out of Raleigh, NC for 3 years, Logan knows blues music & a good bottle of wine but still living off fame of coaching Matt Ryan at BC. Josh is a great locker room guy & mentor & Kap to me, hides in his own little world. Kap as a mentor, advantage McCown. Our #2 pick could very well flip to #7 9'ers & get very interesting if they get Goff or Wentz.. JM pack your bags anyhow

Well at least this 3rd down back, unlike most of the rest, can actually block for the QB if the play calls for it.Besides, haven't you been wanting a FB? Just another option for use of this multipurpose guy if it's needed.
PS-I know the Browns have far greater needs, but I like showing what some smart team is going to get. Got to tout my favorite pick in the draft. I plan to record all his games on The Ticket next year just so I can keep up with what he does. THe Browns games will provide live entertainment (some might say live comedy) and Henry will provide later in the week fun to see if he develops like I think he will.
