  • the division of the military as it is in this country is purely for the military industrial complex. They all have their "must have" weapons programs that for the most part fleece the living shit out of the american taxpayer.

    How so? I mean i'm not saying we don't need a military but I fail to see how they sustain our lifestyle. In fact if it weren't for how the govt used the military or threat of military intervention throughout the decades, we might have progressed more.

    We have our Constitution. That's our guarantee, and our military keeps us from

    all the military interventions happening here. It sounds like you just take our freedom

  • We've pretty much taken what we wanted by force for a while. And it's translated to probably the best standard of living in the world although there's a couple if other countries comparable...by and large they've ridden our coattails on that strategy. If China or Russia thought they could bully us without fear of retaliation...they would do so without hesitation I'm sure.

    Early man walked away as modern man took control. Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal. So He built his great empires and he slaughtered his own kind, and he died a confused man and killed himself in his own mind...

Instead of getting internally stronger we just pilfered the world.....do you see why we are what we are now? We've grown weak from that very paradigm you just described. Why keep evolving and growing when we can just make other people do shit for us under the threat of economic and or military force? "THIS" is why we're a nation of weak men and women now. The country would crumble if we had to get out and make our food again. But not the immigrants that we serfed into doing that shit for us....cause who wants to put their hands in the ground right?
