He was shown to be completely incorrect.

He'll now just start throwing insults and try to change the subject

  • throwing insults in response to thrown insults.

See, you throw a boomarang. It flies around, and comes back,

and whonks you in the nose.

You get mad, you blame the boomarang. Not good.

    🙂

Insult started with the 'liberal idiots' comment above my last post.

It's clear it was a sarcastic and rhetorical question - quickly proven wrong. No point to back track.

I could be as big of an asshole as you libtards and point out that "ur" is not a real word, and therefore you are an idiot. But that would be deflecting from the issue being discussed.

"Ur" is commonly used internet shorthand in todays smartphone world. So "ur" point is once again null and void

I think he characterized it as a necessary evil, one which he would not apologize for. He's right, ur wrong...as usual. Imnot a big fan of his but on this one there is no debate. Nuclear detonations on a civilian population are evil. In tje case of ww2 a prolonged invasion of japan would have been equally as evil and no less destructive...perhaps more.

  • I talk to many different people at my job sometimes about politics. I asked a Canadian about what he thought about Japan and us dropping a bomb on them. Pharapharsing he said...

" It's a good thing, look how beautiful it is over there now. Before it was a shithole and it's the best thing that ever happened to Japan. It ended a lot of turmoil for everyone".

I thought about what he said and he was right. Also he added it wouldn't be a bad idea to do the same in Iraq.

What is this new narrative that pre ww2 japan was like cavemen or some shit? They were building dome of the worlds most advanced military weaponry. Their battleships were legendary.

  • You are a dumb liberal assknock. Both cities were extremely important to the Japanese military. And the US warned citizens by dropping over 5 million leaflets:

"Read this carefully as it may save your life or the life of a or friend. In the next few days, some or all of the cities named on the reverse side will be destroyed by American bombs. These cities contain military installations and workshops or factories which produce military goods. We are determined to destroy all of the tools of the military clique which they are using to prolong this useless war. But, unfortunately, bombs have no eyes. So, in accordance with Americas humanitarian policies, the American Air Force, which does not wish to injure innocent people, now gives you warning to evacuate the cities named and save your lives. America is not fighting the Japanese people but is fighting the military clique which has enslaved the Japanese people. The peace which America will bring will free the people from the oppression of the military clique and mean the emergence of a new and better Japan. You can restore peace by demanding new and good leaders who will end the war. We cannot promise that only these cities will be among those attacked but some or all of them will be, so heed this warning and evacuate these cities immediately.

It was not evil. It saved millions of lives and Japanese civilization. Only a numbskull would think it was evil.

  • Unbeleivable i live among so called humans that are incapable of discerning the lesser of two evils. If something is more evil than something else, that something else is therefor "good". Complete lack of moral fiber.

    Stuart

You "think" he characterized it a necessary evil, but not sure? That says it all right there, the lengths at which you dickwads will go to defend that scumbag ....as usual.

  • as long as they can get their free stuff, no amount of letting bad stuff slide, and rationalizing it,

protecting it... is too much. as it's a huge plus if it tries to undo everything in our country...

    that they don't identify with.
