Personally I was a fan of Mitt Romney but he wasn't very popular among the population.
And he should face the fact that that same population doesn't want a religious zealot either. They do want some free shit and they don't care about abortion and gay marriage.
Some of them I assume are willing to die on that hill so...

Kristol has made all the predictions about how Trump would fade out by December and such, just shows how out of touch he is.
