Switch to linux. You'll be happier for it. I'd recommend linux mint for you.

I use Linux on all my own machines. I don't care for Windows one but and, on general principals, I'll have nothing to do with apple.

If you run a well supported linux distribution you'll pretty much never have any problems.
At work we have servers that have 2 year + uptime

Depends on the games you play - and there's office alternatives that work with all ms office files - Libre, WPS. Or you can use Office 365 which works too.
