Direct quotes of the interaction from the perspective of the guy who got shot. We don't know 100% if that is true but the video is pretty telling.

If ur a cop are u allowed to pistol whip the snot out of another officer? Like in all seriousness if theres an ambish killing of a cop in miami in the next few days you could assign a certain level of culpability to this cop. If i was a cop there i would have to be restrained from beating my fellow officer infront of everyone on that street

this officer should be sending the victim a serious letter of apology,

offhand, I don't see anything that changes what is obviously a major

violation of the law by the officer.

Could/should maybe even end his career. I mean, was he afraid of the toy truck?

thought it was a grenade or bomb or gun or ...??

then he still shot the wrong guy. Police officer clusterfook.

Shockingly, I agree. Doesn't exactly seem like one of those political hot button incidents, just a stupid cop doing a stupid thing. The guy isn't dead, will hopefully make a full recovery, probably get some settlement, and that'll be that.

There's absolutely no way to justify this one - he's on the ground hands up legs spread telling the cop he works in a group home and all he has is a toy truck in his hand
