Are you kiddind me? I cant watch the video rigjt now, is that stsly in it?

Direct quotes of the interaction from the perspective of the guy who got shot. We don't know 100% if that is true but the video is pretty telling.

If ur a cop are u allowed to pistol whip the snot out of another officer? Like in all seriousness if theres an ambish killing of a cop in miami in the next few days you could assign a certain level of culpability to this cop. If i was a cop there i would have to be restrained from beating my fellow officer infront of everyone on that street

I'm sure the "Miami Harold" is all over it...

Here's an article with some video of things not happening

http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/crime/article90905442.html

Doesn't show the shooting, skips over it.

I put mine in clear, direct english.

a disaster, a policeman emotionally knee jerks. I think he may

have been a younger officer who just lost contol of his weapon and fired it ..

or something.

huge settlement, big investigation,...

this officer should be sending the victim a serious letter of apology,

offhand, I don't see anything that changes what is obviously a major

violation of the law by the officer.

Could/should maybe even end his career. I mean, was he afraid of the toy truck?

thought it was a grenade or bomb or gun or ...??

then he still shot the wrong guy. Police officer clusterfook.

Shockingly, I agree. Doesn't exactly seem like one of those political hot button incidents, just a stupid cop doing a stupid thing. The guy isn't dead, will hopefully make a full recovery, probably get some settlement, and that'll be that.

[bbedward]

It will certainly end his career

He'll be Paul Blart, mall cop

[Clevfan4life]

And it plays directly into the blm narrative. Its infuriatingly stereotypical. Like really dude, with all the shit going on really? Can we not kick off the big race war please?

[bbedward]

There's absolutely no way to justify this one - he's on the ground hands up legs spread telling the cop he works in a group home and all he has is a toy truck in his hand

[Clevfan4life]

Thank god the shot wasnt fatal or this would be an xplosion
