Well that's a positive sign in that it will make a vote for Gary Johnson less of a vote for Hillary Clinton. If the Libertarians and Republicans are not drawing from the same pool as they traditionally have. Many Libertarians think there should really be no borders. I'm sure that stance will be modified for todays debates.

Johnson isn't a Ron Paul style libertarian. I haven't heard him advocating for no borders. The party has just as many different shades as any other party. Ron was so far libertarian that he thought that we should respond military via letters of marque.

Johnson isn't a Ron Paul style libertarian. I haven't heard him advocating for no borders. The party has just as many different shades as any other party. Ron was so far libertarian that he thought that we should respond military via letters of marque.
I didn't say he had. I did a search for some of the platforms of the Libertarians and there are Libertarians who think immigration should be automatic and unfettered. I am a libertarian but that part of the platform for some of the members is not kosher with me. You can't have open borders and still try to control the flow of criminals and diseased people.

But not secure the border, remove caps on immigration - many people have valid reasons for disagreeing with stuff like that.
