This playoff season could bring a situation where a long championship drought could be broken. Here are the teams still mathematically alive in the playoff race and the last year they won a title, or when the organization began:

1 vs 2 looked like a distinct possibility until 2 lost starting pitchers 2 and 3 and a close call on 1, but still an outside chance pitcher 2 possibly maybe might make a comeback before it's all over.

Teams with line through them are deleted from playoffs. Would have like to have seen the two on the bottom deleted as well. Maybe the Mets can win their 1 game playoff series....and of course we want the Tribe to eliminate the whiney assholes from Boston. (at least their fans are whiny assholes)
