    All of what u said about gordon may be true but he's taken himself off the firld repeatedly. How is that not a form of cancer? The FO and coaching staffs for the last few years made plans during the offseason predicated on having certain pieces in place. For the instance its not beyond the realm of possibility we didnt spend a high pick on a wr like watkins cause they thought josh would be good to go if not that year then the next.

    It would be impossible to argue that gordons presence on the team this year would have had an impact on our current win/loss record. Our qb's might even gave been able to get rid if the ball quicker therefore pissibly mitigating the pass rushes that have taken their toll on our qb's.

    Dude is not an asshole for sure, he's a troubled kid. But he's cost the browns dearly

  • We're done with him, and his trade value is next to nothing. In fact, we can't even trade the guy until the NFL does its thing, and the deadline is tomorrow I think. We'll simply cut him, and then the Steelers or Patriots will pick him up, and he'll promptly go to the Hall of Fame.

  • Josh Gordon won't ever play a single down for the Browns. Hue Jackson said the team was moving on...it's time for the fans to move on as well. I loved him more than anybody, and I whole-heartedly rooted and prayed for his success. His window has closed in Cleveland, and this subject should be closed. No reason to talk about him anymore.

  • Isn't it coincidental that his rehab completes and he is out right in time for the trade deadline. That dude never wanted or intended to play another down for the Browns. His value is sky high right now for trades. All he can do is damage it by coming back to an 0-8 team.

    The best ability is avail-ability Syd. Gordon hasn't been available for a couple years. Doesn't matter what you or I think about weed and booze. Gordon was too freaking stupid to abstain, and has pissed millions down the drain in the process. He's been given every chance in the world by the Browns, and has unfailingly let us down. He's out of chances with this organization.

    He won't be cut, J. As long as he's suspended, he doesn't count against the roster. The silence from the league & Goodell is deafening. My guess is he's in another indefinite suspension- for the balance of this year at least. Meaning, if we're going to move Josh- it doesn't have to be anytime soon.

    i think all the mves he's done lately (prob on advisement from his agent) points to him not wanting to be in cleveland. what makes you think he'd suit up? i guarantee you he'd claim a back problem before that happens. it's not like we need the picks but the guy doesn't want to be there and when is enough, enough?

    so we fuck up and let him go and he becomes great somewhere else OR he goes to another team does great for 2 weeks then goes out and gets blazed up as a reward only to be banished for good? we all should have wrote him off a long time ago.

    Ok, probably not the same as if AJ Green hit the market, but the only on-field performance that teams can judge him on now is his ridiculous 2014 season. If I am JG, do I want to risk having a mediocre season on a potentially 0-16 Browns and then try to find a new team with a big money contract?

  • Gordons problems are a little beyond just weed......in the NFL, he's really only had the one positive(minute 15nl) test for pot.....all the other episodes have been....codiene, booze, booze and a diluted test....

  • It is less the weed and more the being a complete window licker who makes poor life decisions. He will always find new and inventive ways to fuck himself over.

    It doesn't cost us anything to keep him. He has no trade value. Keep him for a solid year if he does good and starts getting looks from other teams trade him. But right now no team is looking at him.
