Josh Gordon out of Rehab!

The Browns Board

  • Josh Gordon won't ever play a single down for the Browns. Hue Jackson said the team was moving on...it's time for the fans to move on as well. I loved him more than anybody, and I whole-heartedly rooted and prayed for his success. His window has closed in Cleveland, and this subject should be closed. No reason to talk about him anymore.

  • Isn't it coincidental that his rehab completes and he is out right in time for the trade deadline. That dude never wanted or intended to play another down for the Browns. His value is sky high right now for trades. All he can do is damage it by coming back to an 0-8 team.

  • His trade value is sky high?

  • Said it before... repeating it here...

I'm not giving Gordon any thought.

  • Congrats Gordon!!! Please for us in the Dawgpound and for yourself, may you stay sober and prosper! Coleman coming back this week and you clean and focused, we could win out the year at 8-8.

Nope, PD has said the Browns are looking for a trade partner.

Gordon hasn't done a damn thing wrong except for a beer and some weed,,,,,,,,,,,,,HE has never been a cancer in the locker room he does not kill people or beat on women,,,,,,,,,,,,,so fuck off you stupid POS

The best ability is avail-ability Syd. Gordon hasn't been available for a couple years. Doesn't matter what you or I think about weed and booze. Gordon was too freaking stupid to abstain, and has pissed millions down the drain in the process. He's been given every chance in the world by the Browns, and has unfailingly let us down. He's out of chances with this organization.

We're done with him, and his trade value is next to nothing. In fact, we can't even trade the guy until the NFL does its thing, and the deadline is tomorrow I think. We'll simply cut him, and then the Steelers or Patriots will pick him up, and he'll promptly go to the Hall of Fame.

He won't be cut, J. As long as he's suspended, he doesn't count against the roster. The silence from the league & Goodell is deafening. My guess is he's in another indefinite suspension- for the balance of this year at least. Meaning, if we're going to move Josh- it doesn't have to be anytime soon.

  • Yeah what makes you think we will aquire more than a 6. Suit him up. He's still under contract for the low. Just don't go tossing crazy money at him.

i think all the mves he's done lately (prob on advisement from his agent) points to him not wanting to be in cleveland. what makes you think he'd suit up? i guarantee you he'd claim a back problem before that happens. it's not like we need the picks but the guy doesn't want to be there and when is enough, enough?

so we fuck up and let him go and he becomes great somewhere else OR he goes to another team does great for 2 weeks then goes out and gets blazed up as a reward only to be banished for good? we all should have wrote him off a long time ago.

  • His trade value is sky high?

Ok, probably not the same as if AJ Green hit the market, but the only on-field performance that teams can judge him on now is his ridiculous 2014 season. If I am JG, do I want to risk having a mediocre season on a potentially 0-16 Browns and then try to find a new team with a big money contract?

  • Fuck this dude! Like seriously how to get addicted to Pot when it's non addictive. Unreal

Read the entire link. Short version: Weed is a relatively safe drug which for some people can be profoundly addictive.

  • Gordons problems are a little beyond just weed......in the NFL, he's really only had the one positive(minute 15nl) test for pot.....all the other episodes have been....codiene, booze, booze and a diluted test....

  • It is less the weed and more the being a complete window licker who makes poor life decisions. He will always find new and inventive ways to fuck himself over.

It doesn't cost us anything to keep him. He has no trade value. Keep him for a solid year if he does good and starts getting looks from other teams trade him. But right now no team is looking at him.

There are just as many teams chomping at the bit to get him as there are for JM.

There are also just as many trying to sign this 69 y.o. Browns fan, but every time I answer it's some guy from India in the "Microsoft Technical Department" wanting to fix the "wiruses" in my computer for a nominal fee to be named later. 😆

i'm sure every team is looking at every player available before the trade deadline.

i don't care if we keep him or not. would you have wanted to keep manziel too? and to me (at this point) it's not about talent. it's about ridding yourself of a pesky fly just keeps coming back to fly around your plate.

  • Maybe try drafting someone from Syracuse. We've had some good luck there before. Let Gordon go, he's as big a waste as his butt buddy...Billy vegas

I was never bug on Manziel actually preferred Carr. But I did root for him because he was a Brown. No I wouldn't have resigned him he wasn't good. Did not take the game serious. Gordon just smokes weed. He's a great player and if give the opportunity he can be something. I never seen that in Manziel.

  • i got friends that smoke weed. big deal.

now let them put an application in for shoprite for assistant ass janitor and they ask for a piss test........

    mmmmh.
