The kid from Syracuse will be the next Joe Montana.

On the 2017 draft. I finally have figured out the Browns draft logic. Think about it. The Browns traded down when they gave up Modell for Lerner. They just got into the habit of trading down to get shit.

I wish the league would have forced Modell to sell the team to Al Lerner.

It took them like another 3 years only to realize they should have done that.

Tim Williams is being compared to Randy Gregory. Not good.

Because of his play......which would be fine.....or because of his off field stuff?

Repeatedly failed piss tests. Gregory is suspended currently for just that reason.

  • A gun charge mixed in as well.

OK, then. Say hello to Derek Barnett at #12?

Back at it! I drafted this just a couple minutes ago. Gotta watch a movie with the family then maybe I'll try again! But this was a good run...

  • Again? Give it a freeking rest PG.

Please don't. You are boring us to tears.

How about actually talking about some of the players you would like to draft.

4 first round draft picks? Jesus H. Christ...you're becoming as boring as Ghoolie with this nonsense.

Serious lack of explosion, questionable hand usage to keep lineman from getting into his pads, no counter move. Just not impressive as a pass rusher, basically.

  • Any late round sleepers we should be keeping an eye on at the combine ?

Jordan Willis KSU DE Edge Rusher - lot of potential there and well coached by Snyder.

  • I thought that acquiring four first rounders while being able to keep our 2018-19 first round selections was an epic and masterful move... I guess you disagree...

  • Why not just get eight or ten first round picks?

    sometimes,.......

nobody cares about these unrealistic computer fantasy mocks. If this had even the slightest chance of happening in real life, I'd be pumped, but it doesnt. Maybe these fantasy mocks need their own thread?
  • Our draft speculation is going to really heat up soon, and it will reach near fever pitch before the actual day gets here. Everybody associated with the Browns understand that this draft might be our most important since our return, and the pressure is undeniable. It's further complicated by the fact we don't have a terrific QB option coming out of college (of course, right??), and our need for a QB has never been more dire. It's an unenviable situation to be in, and we need to knock it out of the park after a less than stellar 2016 draft. I know it takes a couple of years to truly grade a draft, but I don't get the idea that many people are satisfied with how the majority of our rookies played. Let's hope they learn fast and develop faster.

As far as the QB position is concerned, my guess for our future goes something like this: We draft Garrett or Allen at one, and then we take a QB with the #12 pick. If two of the top three QB prospects are taken within the top 7 picks, I could see us trading with Carolina to the #8 pick in order to vault over the Bills, who will also require a QB. Additionally, I see us signing Tyrod Taylor to be the veteran starter and hold it down so our rookie can learn. Tyrod won't set the universe on fire, but I'll take him instantly.

Hopefully we DON'T have to trade with Carolina, thus keeping our bevy of picks. If we don't have to trade, I see the draft going like this: Garrett, Watson/Kizer, DB/S, and OL with our first four picks.

epic and masterful on a computer. While you're at it...why not trade our 2025 6th round pick for Aaron Rodgers. Trade our 2026 7th round pick for Khalil Mack as well. Might as well do these things if we're going to live in fantasy land.

  • Nothing wrong with a good fantasy...
