GOAT
-
He's the GOAT. If I had any doubts prior to the game (which I don't think I did), they were absolved last night. Some of those throws he made in the 4th quarter and OT were just...wow.
-
Hence the reason we must go QB at 1, the QB won out over the DL.
-

-
So we (the dumb general public) get to overlook the Hoodie who's motto forever which is "if you're not cheating you're not trying" and the greatest QB ever had badly under inflated football's in his very experienced hands having thrown thousands of footballs in his lifetime...but won't ever admit he knew about it?
Yes it must be absolutely true winning conquers all.

....hey it sounds good.

Brady is the GOAT. How he was picked in the 6th round shows you how stupid these draft gurus are.
No one saw him coming... not even the Pats.

Or, vice versa.

Game of inches.
The David Tyree catch in Super Bowl 42. Welker just missing that ball in Super Bowl 46.
Yes, game of inches. Every game the Pats have played have been last second wins.
They could actually have gone 0-7 easily enough. Just pointing out...they had big big breaks to win some of those games.
Adam Vinatieri could have been Scott Norwood a couple of times.
It took the dumbest call in the history of football to get their Seattle win.
And then this thing yesterday.
Yes, there were definitely some Marty Schottenhemier moments going on there.
-
And, oh yea. The GOAT:
Otto Graham.
Two more titles and Brady will tie him.
-
This whole thread is gay.
Otto Graham is the gold standard.
Brady is greatest in Super Bowl era, just don't be all gay about it. He's an opponent, hopefully we rip his spleen out of his ass next year if the Patriots are lucky enough to get back to the playoffs.

Yup, the undisputed GOAT of leather helmets and jock straps.
Call us when someone catches up.
But, you bring up a good point. OG only did it in an 11 year career. He had accomplished so much that he retired. (He could actually get paid more doing something else in those days). Plus, he played in time when QBs didn't wear skirts...or were given a protective bubble the way they are now.
So, not only was he better, won more....he was tougher.

Yeah, its all cheating.
2016 marks the 7th straight season winning at least 12 games. Forget all the good players that have come and gone and the coaches and front office who have moved on with their careers. The Falcons GM used to work for the Patriots.
Accomplishments agreed, shady dude at least from a personality standpoint he's the undisputed heavyweight champion. (my Midwest bias showing

Inst it amazing that the hundreds of NE players that have gone to other teams or retired and not even 1 has come out and stated that NE tampers with the footballs?
Financial suicide if you become a big rat, those easy money endorsements will evaporate and you won't be exactly welcome in some locker rooms.
Tight fraternity that shield can be.

It never comes down to just 1 play or 1 bad call.
Brady hung 14 in the 2nd half on a Seattle defense that averaged 17 points per game. You make your own breaks in sports.
What the fuck are you talking about?
You kick a game winning field goal...it comes down to one play.
You pick off a pass that would have been the game winning TD....it came down to one play.
ONE play can and does make a difference in games like these.
Sure, there are hundreds of other plays in a game that all "count" to the final result....but the execution that does or does not occur on one play does make a difference between winning and losing.
I mean, sure, you can that it does not come down to one play when the 49ers beat the Broncos 55-10.
But in every single Pats game, it came down to one play.
You admitted that when you said that but for the Eli throw/Tyrell catch, the Pats would have won. Same for the Eli/Manningham catch.
If the Giants don't execute on that one play in each of those games....the Pats win.
I remember the last playoff game the Browns were in. Browns have a lead. If they can get a first down, they salt away the game because they can run out the clock. Pass from Kelly Holcomb to Dennis Northcutt. Northcutt out and out drops it. It would have been a first down. If he catches it....game over, Browns win. He drops it. Browns punt....Steelers take it down in like final minute to win the game...which would have been over with the clock run out.
One play can count for everything.
Yesterday, was no different. Play 60 minutes and let the chips fall where they may. Most teams would have quit being down 25 points. All the whining about hocus pocus rabbit feet and 4 leaf clovers are weak.
Well...it seemed like one team did quit....but it was the one up by 25 points.

No, because: A. No other player has anything to do with the footballs. Its not like they announced to the whole team "Hey, guys, we just want you all to know, we are going to doctor the footballs here because we think it gives us a better chance to win. So, keep your heads up....we are doing what we can to give ourselves an advantage, OK"
B. Even if they did do that...no player on a team is going to snitch about it.
So, don't be so naive.

Quite a few retired players are dead broke.
There would be a big payday to come out and expose the big conspiracy.
Oh some do occasionally in all sports mainly when retired Jose Conseco comes to mind now regarded as an idiot, oh his daughter was Miss June 2016 I'll bet also just for the money.
There have been tell all books throughout time remember Ball Four?

No need to call when the Tom "GOAT" Brady is still playing.
Grahams NFL is like checkers compared to the 3 D Chess of todays game. Teams used to play 1 defense the entire season. The players are bigger, faster and smarter today and the game is a 12 month 365 day job. Somebody else is getting better if you are not. In Grahams days the players had full time jobs like bar tender or painting houses. Football was like playing golf on Sunday.
Again....you make our argument. OG did NOT have the advantages of today's players. Not the nutrition or weight training, certainly not the money. No computers etc.
But, if you think it was like playing golf....you are one dumb motherfucking idiot. Go ahead...go out a play football and get hit by the likes of the guys that OG got hit by.
Tom Brady may have lasted only slightly longer than you. He would have been crunched like a pretzel. Now, I am not saying he isn't a pretty tough guy. He is. He stands in there and takes shots. But even so, he is still vastly more protected than QBs of old.
And by the way....you also show you have no clue about what the Browns played like back then. Paul Brown and OG invented the "West coast offense", though it was not called that then. The same system that the 49ers ran during their reign, that the Packers ran...that many teams still run.
I know you would not know that. You know little or nothing, that is evident.

What on earth are you rambling about today?
The game comes down to opportunities made and opportunities missed. 1 play or bad call never decides it when you didnt make plays that were there, A dropped ball, bad throw or missed block like Hightowers sack.
Julio Jones had 4 catches. Its not luck or voo doo or 1 play bull$hit.
Its like talking to a Retard here, isn't it folks.
Of course every play counts you moron. But, the question is "what does a game come down to".
So....in your view, the 2014 Super Bowl did not come down to the Seahawks making a stupid call by throwing the ball instead of giving it to Marshawn Lynch to run it in. It did not come down to that DB making that interception on that play.
You don't think that play could have made the difference between winning and losing.
You think that if that play had been executed differently...correctly, that the Patriots would still have won.
Is that what you are saying?

The players could not tell the difference between the NE footballs and the new teams footballs.
The referees couldn't tell either.
You have investigation resources at your disposal since youre a Lawyer and Magistrate. It is your sworn duty to the United States of America and the Bar Association to expose this scandal. Go forth and let the evidence lead you to the truth and justice for all.
Now you are really proving you don't know shit from shinola.
I will show you what my sworn duty is.: I will be glad to investigate on your behalf. Just as soon as you pay me a $100,000.00 retainer. That is where my lawyerly duty lies.....to client's that have hired me at my asking price.
If you don't like that....go ahead and try to have a case brought before my court where I have proper jurisdiction over it.
Somehow I don't think that you can get any parties to agree that the Doylestown Mayor's Court is the proper venue for such a thing.
