It happens every year about this time I finally get real interested in the NFL Draft I only wish they'd go back to the old Saturday /Sunday format and not this prime time Hollywood version.

.....plus when does March Madness kick in?

Funny War. To be more specific, March 14th right here in Dayton. I'm not a huge college BB fan, but the hometown Flyers are pretty much a lock to get in. My prediction? Gonzaga will flop as usual.

He's an intriguing pick. Still have to look up more about him.

What's his biggest flaw? Best attribute?

slow release...not mobile in that regard like Sean Mannion of the Rams another uber productive gym rat who received 2nd rd grades from scouts as a junior.

. best attributes are also like Mannion, hard working, smart, gym rat with perfect size and and solid arm..what he does very well and better then all the qb's in this draft is screens....has a real feel for it...underrated skill lot of qb's struggle with it..sucking dline in, waiting, throwwing from different angles and leading the RB. Goff couldn't do it when he was at Cal.

So where would you want to pick him up in the draft if we have not gotten a QB by then?

          • 3rd Round: No. 103 overall (39th pick of the round) - Pick goes to New England
          • 4th Round: No. 139 overall (33rd pick of the round) - Pick goes to Philadelphia
          • 4th Round: No. 142 overall (36th pick of the round)
          • 5th Round: No. 183 overall (38th pick of the round)

So? How many total picks do the Browns now have....not including those you mention having been traded. Plus, what positon are they?

Heres an old list I had.

            https://overthecap.com/projecting-2017-compensatory-draft-picks/

So we likely end up getting the 3rd for Mack, which goes to NE for Jaime Collins. Also the 4th we get for Gipson goes to Phila. We will have a 4th and a 5th for Schwartz and Benjamin.

            1.1

            1.12

            2.1

            2.20

            3.1

            4.1

            4.comp

            5.1

            5.32 (from NE)

OMG if they can't find some needed help on offense, defense and special teams with those 11 picks shame on them.

But draft day(s) should be fun for us.

There's a hole in the 3rd round that might need filling.

Trade down out of 12 to maybe 25, get a 3rd this year and a 1st next year.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

Just no. It's time to cash in during a very strong 1-20 draft. This team needs stars to pull this base out of the hole. We won't find them with a 25, a 3rd rounder and likely another 25 next year.

'Peens trade down makes sense in only one scenario. They want Garropolo, and think #12 is too much. It had better not be to #22 though, it's cursed for the Browns. 🙂

That, or it gives us a 1st rounder next years qb's.

If OJ Howard is on board at 12 the Garropolo may happen..If not it gets only better. Say Mitch & JG our off the board. Pick #22 is held by Miami.(no to QB?)#23NYG(no to QB)#23 Oak.(No to QB) #24.Houston(God yes thank you) #25.Sea.(No to QB) #26.KC...Yes to QB & Draftek has Kizer going there..Breaking News 😮😛...The Browns get a option 5th year deal on stealing Kizer at #22 from #33 with Miami..Sleep well, it could happen 😎

Why does everyone think BB requires a TE? He seems to roll with the punches, yet folks think his top priority is replacing gronk...
