  • If Garrett is a bust then all of the drafting experts should find new jobs because it's literally a concensus. Browns shouldn't over think it. And while I agree that we should address QB at 12, what if someone like Fournette or Adams falls to us at 12? Maybe then we look at the second round, first selection. But what if Peppers falls out of the first round? Then we're left with the second round, second selection?

    Maybe we sign a FA QB?

    I just don't know what to think. Like a kid in a candy shop!

    Hue said he doesn't think his favorite QB will be there at 12, which can be translated several different ways. If they go with Garrett first, and see their QB sitting there at 12 it's pretty much a done deal.

    Adams would make it interesting, but i can't believe there would be 11 players selected ahead of him unless someone hacks his phone and posts a video of him performing satanic rituals or some shit.

  • The only way the Browns can screw this draft up is to draft someone other than Garrett. Please don't get cute with this one. Plenty of QBs to be had at pick 12.

    That's what I think as well. Garrett, Fournette, 2 great players in the second round, a center in the 3 red round and Taylor in FA. That's a potential era-changing draft.

    But it's the NFL's primetime spring show! The talking heads need at least 10 minutes to discuss why the Browns should draft Garrett.

    Sure enough plenty to be had- but will they be any good? Webb, Kaaya, Peterman, Dobbs, Kelly. Probably plenty of UFAs too. 🙂

    Just no to Taylor. RE: Fournette- running backs that try to run defenders over tend to have a short shelf life. My bet is assuming we're taking Garrett- the top qbs will be gone by #12. May as well take another defensive player with that pick.

    The supply doesn't match the demand regardless of how appealing the local boy story is to a couple of our fans. Trubisky is not a better prospect than Derek Carr was. While we're at it, what happened to the guys that got drafted ahead of Carr? 2 may never play again while Bortles is in way over his head as a #3 overall.

    When I saw Trubisky interviewed in Indy, this whole thing looked overwhelming just like the thought of going to Ohio State did to him once upon a time. Where in all this does he look like the answer to all our problems? Hoorta, you've only seen 2 games he played in his entire scholarship and you blamed his defense and dropped passes for both losses. You were on the verge of blaming popcorn and peanut vendors. The difference between winning and losing against Stanford was his pick 6 and the great ones don't lose BIG Games by pick 6s - they overcome them and erase deficits when/if need be. If NC's defense was too overwhelming for him to beat decent competition, what do you think our 31st ranked defense does for his chances while he's behind a pass pro that several of our QBs couldn't survive starts in?

    Time to be honest. This is a weak QB draft. You like to tell me when the scouts say one of the QBs has a weak arm but you don't like it when the majority of them say this is a weak QB class.

    I welcome the only Defensive Coordinator to earn a Superbowl Ring in New Orleans while understanding Revenge of the Nerds is a sequel. "Come get some!"
