well, I don't get your feigned indignance. What he said was pretty ignorant, except he isn't a stupid guy. He just said something
that didn't come out anywhere near smart. The fact that nobody would say what others politically belligerently say he meant to say,
so what he meant surely came out wrong. That's all. I never lost it when obamao misspoke, he did it a lot. It was amusing

Slaverys pretty much only brought up here when, u know, slavery is talked about. Not much is that ever used in some political analogy to some modern day event.
The holocaust is brought up practically weekly almost as a reflex gag whenevet israel is brought up.

Just about every time gay marriage is discussed somebody here likes to point out that at one time interracial marriage was illegal.
