Here is a short set of question about the Browns drafting history, and how it may relate to some current draft issues:
1.Browns have the #1 overall pick. Name all those persons the Browns have taken with the #1 overall pick of the regular draft.
Phipps, Ernie Davis and Couch... all the names I can think of, but I know we took a QB first overall back in the 50's (seems like it was in a recent trivia set)... no idea on the name. I know JB was not #1 overall.Kosar was a #1 in the supplemental so you missed a trick question opportunity by making this "regular draft" instead of just "draft".
2. Browns have the #12 overall pick. Name all those person the Browns have taken with the #12 overall pick in the draft in their history. Hint: 4 names
No clue... but seems like Danny was around 12.We've had a lot of midling picks in my lifetime... so WAG time...
Pretty sure either Chip or Clay was around mid-round... seems like Chip was a higher pick tho... I'll go with Clay.
Maybe a RB? William Green was a middle-ish "steal" or so we thought. Ditto-ish for a better result: Eric Metcalf?

We went there a couple times in late 70's (early 80's?)... Risen was one of the good ones and there was an LB... Jackson(?) or Johnson(?) about the same time... taken pretty high, too IIRC.

Only Couch is correct. Phipps was #3 overall, and Davis was not a Browns draft choice (plus, I do not believe he was #1 overall anyway..he was drafted by the Redskins, then traded for). Plus, yes, I did not want to muddy the waters with Kosar, even though you are right about him being a #1 supp pick.)

Both Shelton and Clay Matthews are correct. Chip Banks I think was a #3 overall. The others you have to go way back for.
