  • Yeah but those very right wing groups have just thrown definitions out of the window over the last few years and used those terms as they've felt like. IMO.

"Real" American - someone I agree with politically

"Fake" News - news that paints what I believe in a negative light

Let's take the 'fake news" part of this. When the news is reported unfairly or with bias and journalists try to slant news to go along with a narrative they are trying to present than to me that is not real journalism and it is rampantly going on today. Sure it goes on both sides but the liberal side has much more of it because the MSM which most people get their news from are liberally biased.

Let me give one quick example. The MSM runs a piece on replacing Obamacare on the nightly news. In Obamacare there are some winners but mostly losers. So the nightly news interviews a few people who have been helped by Obamacare but don't balance that with those who have been hurt with Obamacare by higher premiums and deductibles along with employers reducing hours to part time to keep from Obamacare mandates. I see this type of reporting over and over in the MSM.

  • And if you're far enough right (or left) anything even slightly the other way will come off as super liberal (or conservative).

A news program that's moderate will seem liberal to you. Probably because you actively get news from very clearly biased sources.

And then suddenly everything becomes "MSM" and liberal.

Hostile: 89 Percent of Network Trump Coverage Is Negative Study finds ABC, CBS, NBC overwhelmingly biased against president in first 80 days

Although the mainstream media famously afforded former President Barack Obama a “honeymoon period” in the early months of his presidency, President Donald Trump received no such fawning treatment, according to a study released Wednesday by the Media Research Center.

Three of the major news networks — ABC, CBS and NBC — gave Trump “by far the most hostile press treatment of any incoming American president,” the MRC study found. Through analysis of the three networks’ evening news coverage from Jan. 20 to April 9, the study found that 89 percent of coverage of the Trump administration had been negative.

  • Right but if you objectively do negative things, and people report on those negative things, is it the networks fault they're showing "negative coverage"?

  • Aaaaand that study. Every freaking time...

"Since 1987, the Media Research Center (MRC) has been the nations premier media watchdog. We dont endorse politicians and we dont lobby for legislation. MRCs sole mission is to expose and neutralize the propaganda arm of the Left: the national news media. This makes the MRCs work unique within the conservative movement."

All like I said it's probably better than during slavery. But I don't see how you can turn a blind-eye to the crime and the murder rate and the poverty and the lack of education amongst one particular group. If it was just past discrimination the Jews the Irish the Italian's the Asians would all be living in hell holes. But....

Wow brilliant. So the reason people are more afraid of pitbulls than border collies is because they are just mean people?

    WSS

  • So there are bad race relations between white and black people, because white people are afraid of black people, but black people did it to themselves?

Yes to a great extent. It's unfortunate but it's true.

And not only white people but every other race including other blacks.

Is it hard for you to understand? Or are you just being a...

    Stuart

    For the most part yes.

As affirmed and or strongly implied by notable blacks such as Sheriff David Clarke, economists Dr. Thomas Sowell, Dr. Walter Williams, Alan Keys, Larry Elder....the list goes on and on.

When your head is buried in the sand all that can be seen is that ass that you make yourself out to be.

OK Woody I understand you're going to keep asking the same question over and over so how about you give us your opinion?

Equal rights is the law you know and you can be actually prosecuted if it even seems like you're denying someone, right?

Beyond that why is it someone else's fault for the behavior among poor blacks and what needs to be done to correct it?

    WSS

  • I just wanted you to answer my last question

  • OK I see you have no intention of being serious. No Woody not all. You see when anybody uses words like all or every somebody will say wait wait wait there is this one guy who...

So I won't give you the opportunity to use that lame ass gotcha.

But if you behave in an Anti-social criminal or irresponsible manner I can't imagine very many circumstances in which it's not your own fault no matter who you are.
