    KC is going through their hot streak but IF the Tribe bats + starting pitching continue to be strong they can outrun them.

    The Twinkies are in a similar position and we'll see what happens coming up to the trade deadline.

    What would be nice would be if the Tribe pounded the RS and Yankees in those games...and allowed the TB Rays....who are only 2.5 games out of first place, to take over the east. And then have the Royals make a WC spot and kick one of them out altogether.

    As, if the season ended today you would have, in the playoffs:

    ALE: Red Sox

    ALC: Indians

    ALW: Astros

    WCs: Yankees and Royal, Rays only a half game back in the WC race.

    The scheduled Tribe pitchers are 18-17 -but- may have turned the corner and a 2-1 or 3-0 against the CSX isn't impossible.

    They have to go through BOS & BAL meanwhile the Indians have two more vs the hapless CSX. Gain two more spots?
