Keep the current defense and add a CB. On the offensive side add via draft Saquan  and a WR, sign Davante Adams as a free agent to add to Coleman and the draft pick. You could sell Cousins on that

During that magic trick will you also give me a 12 inch rod and a billion dollars?

The money would be great, of course, but I'm not shortening for no matter how much money. 😆

  • This is pretty funny. Jesus Christ.

Also, no big time free agent QB is going to come here with the current coach and front office running things. Cousins would make a ton of money to get his brains pounded in and journey further away from a ring.

If Jimmy opens up his wallet and makes Cousins one of the highest paid players in league history, it''ll be surprising how fast Kirk will suddenly love all things Browns........

We do know that the people picking our players will get another worthless player with a second round pick

I would like to see it but I see him ring chasing for 3/4 of the massive sum the Browns will offer.

A wr draft pick that works out for this regime will be a miracle

We will by the end of the season Mark.

Shmuck it....send them all 3.   Who cares at 0-8 who plays QB.

I nominate YOU. My ten yard wounded ducks won't cut it in the NFL.

  • We needed Garoppolo before the season and we couldn't make it happen. We couldn't make it happen now for whatever reason. We probably should've done something at the beginning of the year, some sort of veteran qb...but it's too late. Whether Garoppolo, Kaepernick, Keenum, or whoever... It's obvious we should have had a veteran qb on our roster.

  • the 49ners just offered a 7th round pick to the Browns for Kizer if they sign or trade for Cousins...

they still need a developmental third round qb.........

  • Pats didn't trade for Hoyer because it would cost them compensatory picks.

And yes...I'd take Hoyer in a second.

Meh... Kap couldn't count to 30 if you gave him 3 tries... dude is a moron. Not gonna help a QB room learn anything.

Garoppolo has played in what? 3 games?

Keenum? Nah. Might as well have kept Austin Davis if you go that route.

The best option was Josh McCown, but they passed.

ill agree though, cut Hogan for a Vet. I'd take Hoyer over Hogan.

Me too, that is if  Hue thinks there's a chance of actually winning a game this season.....

Git urself a rula dik nigga!!!

  • This opens (or LEAVES open) many doors for our QB poor Brownies. Just have to wait & see!

    Mike

  • Hoyer wont come here to mentor kizer, he already proved with jm that he isnt really that kind of guy. Mccown on the other hand, jesus christ i want the person responsible for letting him go fired....even if it was hue. I cant imagine hue being so stupid knowing kizer was a project and having a guy like mccown on the roster who explicitly stated he's mire than willing to help a team mentor a young qb and take over some games when the nooby is having nooby probs.

Seriously that is the only thing currently that woyld enrage me to the point i say hues got to go. Everything else thats happened i take with a grain of salt bec i know the situation this entire franchise is in. But canning a productive vet qb cause why? Cause ossweiler came in? I just know that the mccown thing was the doing of the weasely little analytics fgts that look at everything on a piece of paper and doodle iyt some meaningless equation

  • Cousins to us then 🙂

  • Even if they don't extend JimmyG, niners could franchise him at 24M per.

I don't think this is a big deal -- the one that we really should have done is getting Pro Bowl DT Dareus from the Bills for only a 6th .. the Jags got him for the same price we paid for our current nonsense kicker.

In fairness no one would have been able to mentor the trainwreck named Johnny

  • hmmm....quite interesting.  If I were the Patriots i would've traded Jimmy G and KEPT Brissett as my backup.  I mean, Brissett isn't headed toward FA any time soon.  -  If they didn't think Jimmy G was their future...or that they didn't want to franchise him as a backup...but trading them BOTH away in the same season??  That's a little odd.

  • The Pats had to have dealt Jimmy before the Browns paid $16M for a 2nd round pick, via the hallow Brock Lobster transaction. That was time

    That from Jason La Canfora.
